Hi guys. I bought this and 'installed', then when clicked to download and the BigFish screen came up it says 'installation failed' i re-did all but still get same message...(have put in help request)..Do any of you have any ideas...i also just had this happen w/the trial version of Enigma. This has never happened before...

I would delete the game manager, the game and then run ccleaner to remove any remnants. After that install the game again and it will install a new manager automatically. Sometimes they just get corrupt.

BrownEyedTiger...? Where would i find the game manager?..and is that the name of the file...bigfishgamemanager ? is it the program called bfclient?

That's the one gamenut! Just go into add/delete programs and delete it.

BET...it did not work...i removed the BF client...and went back to my acct ...can't redownload game...list of games all pale..and can't select...so tried to download a 'trial version' of a game...it 'downloaded' but when try to play...get...cannot connect to bigfish. My internet is up...'cause here i am! oh help...could it be their site is having problems?

Did you clean off any remnants using ccleaner before you download again? Also, did you delete the first download?

You will have to download a game (any game) from their website after you do that. That will automatically install the new client.

In the meantime I will see if their site is having issues.

EDIT: I just went and downloaded and installed a game at random from BF and it went just fine.

sorry took so long to get back.had phone call..yes ran the ccleaner. had not used it before. just turned it loose so i hope stuff will still work well. went to BF..logged in...when go to page where lists games i have gotten they cannot be clicked on. so went to a 'free' download again. it downloaded something, then when i clicked on it got same message...cannot connect to BF. check internet connection. i am so frustrated. Also now, the games i have downloaded and was playing won't load.

I have no other way to fix your problem. All I can suggest is to get on their live chat tomorrow and talk to them. Perhaps there is a server down in your location. It has happened before where only some couldn't connect depending where they lived. Let me see if I can find the website that tells you.

I bet that is it...i downloaded a file from email just now and it was fine...and i will try another site i was going to do a download from and see if can useit ok. i appreciate your taking time to help! I am sure it'll get fixed eventually..but you know how it is...when you want to game...!!! hahaha....really bad that you can't even play the games you already started playing...that doesn't make sense...thanks again!

gamenut, there are areas down as you can see Here. Not sure where "under a rock" is, but the "naughty corner" is fully operational.

ah-HA! YEP...ky down...was just getting ready to post they must be down because did a game download from another site and had no prob. I bet lots of Moms were logging on to play and overloaded the area...or could be because of some bad weather. Thanks Brown Eyed Tigre. My rock area hopefully will be up and running soon.!

I am working on persian carpet and am in Lindon office. The puzzle that has me going is the one on the safe? I tried using the walkthrough, but it makes no sense. It says to push the top ball of column 2 to the left once. Where is the ball? Is this a stupid question?

jojo, it's not a ball per se, but you will get a sign if you hover your curser over the rows to go up/down/left/right. Of you don't get a sign to do so you do not have your curser in the right spot.
