Picture gondolas full of Nancy Drew: The Phantom of Venice! An Italian adventure has just been added to the summer itineraries of Nancy Drew fans everywhere as Her Interactive today announced that Nancy Drew®: The Phantom of Venice has shipped exclusively for PC. Available for purchase at retail, online, and via download, the 18th installment of the #1 best-selling PC game adventure series, Nancy Drew®: The Phantom of Venice, tasks players with uncovering the mastermind behind a series of unsolved thefts taking place throughout The City of Water during Carnevale.
In Nancy Drew®: The Phantom of Venice, the Italian police have asked Nancy for help in unraveling a crime ring that is stealing all of Venice’s priceless artifacts. Assuming the role of Nancy Drew, players arrive in Venice during Carnevale and take on an undercover spy mission for the Italian police! Learning a new language and navigating the transportation system will seem easy compared to matching wits with the masked thief who tests every bit of Nancy’s skill. Ultimately it is up to Nancy to determine who the mysterious thief is and stop him or her before it is too late. Nancy Drew: The Phantom of Venice is rated “E” for Everyone and is shipping to retailers nationwide. You can also purchase it on the Her Interactive website for a suggested retail price of $19.99. Trisha, I thought it was going to be today. It's still early in Washington so maybe later today? Ana

I know what you mean, JKEerie. I have about six games piled up by my desk that I haven't found time to play yet. But when a new Nancy game (or Jonathan Boakes, if I'm being really honest) comes out, I somehow find the time. Who needs sleep?
Wow, I think I'll head to Target tonight. Best Buy didn't have it yet when I called yesterday.

I got a notice that the game is out for delivery today via UPS,...I had preordered it. I love all their games and look forward to every one of them. Playing the games is one way that all my worries seem to go on the back burner. It is a lovely way to retreat!

I went to my local Target as well as Best Buy yesterday and they did not have it, so I ordered it from Interact. Just waiting for my e-mail now.

It is not full of tedious chores, but there is a dance routine you need to learn, much like the fight scene in Danger with design. It is a mediocre Nancy, but no real complaints. Ana

I've been trying to download the game all day (I purchased it at 2pm and it is now 9:42 pm). The downloader was very slow and it was at 90% when it froze and I had to begin again. After a while, I gave up and used my own downloader, but now it is taking 3 hours, once more. It is 37% done.. and there's about two hours left. Can anyone solve the slowness? xD

Okay xD But I normally have a fast internet connection >.> Oh, I'm not new to Gameboomers, just a new account ^^ But thanks. Whenever it's almost done, I mess something up and the computer has to restart.. so my mom thinks there's something wrong with it =/ I guess that I'll just see if I can keep the computer on all night to let it download.
