I don't think there is a way to restart the level, you can only start from the last and only save or start a new game. I presume you haven't played this case yet? Could you let me know, when you play it? Thanks. Edit: You were so right! I haven't checked one of the interactions and now I did it and Voila! Thank you, misa, you did help me!

Did anyone finish this yet? I think I am in the home stretch with Collecting evidence and doing the dna imaging. Boy that dna stuff goes fast!

How are you liking it? Is it hard to find things on a small screen or did BigFish manage to port this genre into this platform with success? Ana

I think BFG did an awesome job porting this to DS. The rooms are larger than one screen and you pan around looking for objects. The objects are hidden well but not impossible to see. Some are hidden and can only be seen using goggles (underwater) or UV light. Some objects you have to manipulate (e.g., flip the moon -- you have to use your stylus and the hand tool to literally flip it). Some scenes have those secret rooms (like in Madame Fate) for you to find objects in as well. There are various minigames after each case that range from tile swap, jigsaw, spin/match (hard to explain that one but it's fun). There's also (minor) reference to Madame Fate, Prime Suspects and Felix makes a cameo. The feel of the game is very Prime Suspects (not to serious and humourous). There is an online demo here: http://www.nintendo.com/mcf/ Just wait for it to load and then click on the DS. It will give you an idea of gameplay. To pan in the online demo, click on the screen and drag around. I think they definitely have a winner here and can't wait for a sequel. I've tried some games ported from PC to DS and they were just awful (Myst on DS was awful). The developers on Millionheir did an outstanding job IMHO. Very pleased with it and worth the purchase of a DS and the game just to play!

Springchicken, have you gotten to this part yet? (don't worry, not a plot spoiler) If so, what do you think? I think I'm on the 5th one and they start to move really fast

misa, I haven't gotten to DNA yet, I'm at Jim Ferno, the firefighter. I'm curious now to get to this part. If you'd like, I could let you know when I get there. I'm stuck now looking for the will. It seems nothing works here, even the hints. What am I supposed to do with the portrat?

For the portrait you need to look at it with the UV light. Pan down to the bottom right hand of the portrait with that light. After that, if you get stuck on the bird safe: You need to blow into the microphone and then rub off the dirt

Thank you, misa. I did the bird safe by different way: just pressed the left and right buttons simultaneously . I went through level 6 DNA, getting speedy, and I'm afraid there are more levels ahead.
