Looks like a fun game, but on the demo I had the wandering mouse thing.....so I'll have to pass.

Some of the flashing lights really bothered me, but I guess I'm waiting for something else. I think I got so hooked on Magic Encyclopedia, that this game just isn't the same.

I can't even get it downloaded frown
BFG site seems slow, and then I get an error message about them maybe having tech problems.
Anyone else having problems?

No trouble with downloading or installing. No timer and you can random click. I didn't finish the first part and I quit the game and all progress was lost. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I like the game though.

I had the problem with the graphics being really slow on my computer. I'm an impatient type and was clicking faster that the game could handle, it drove me crazy. I've played other HOG games just fine. i would also like to turn off the tutorial, each screen takes a while to come up and I've played that sort of game enough not to need help. I was clicking things and then a tutorial would come up and try and tell me what I needed to do. I was already doing it if it would get out of the way.

I to dislike the tutorial I know what to do by now. I don't think you can turn it off. I didn't find the graphics in the game slow at all. Really liked the game. Nice to take your time and not to be rushed.

I love the game! Thank you BFG! Here is what I like most about it...

Interesting story line
Sharp clean graphics
Nothing hidden in shadows
Variety of mini games
Quality of mini games
Good music
Choice of timer or no timer
Objects are just hard enough (not to hard to find).

What I didn't like is...

The tutorial should play only once... it was very annoying. If it took you too long to find something it pops up.

There is a ticking sound that makes me nervous... sounds too much like a clock.

I will definitely buy this game. I'm still playing on my old klunker computer and it plays great... so I'm going to play it here and not on my Vista. I also get the cursor lag with my Vista (which is still being repaired). It runs fine on the Klunker with XP. (Should have kept playing on the Klunker and saved $900 by not buying the new computer). Best Buy has had it 3 weeks now for a memory chip. frown

thumbsup on this game, for me anyway.

PS: I loved the solitaire and match 3 mini games... I have only played 1 hour so there may be more great mini's... can't wait to get the full version and see.

Prices are going up everywhere except in our incomes.

What's up with the jigsaw puzzle of the scene in front of the hock shop? The instructions don't mention how to rotate the pieces and right clicking doesn't work.

Hi ScarletDragon, I was just coming here to see if anyone else had this problem. I'm at the Hock Shop & got most of the pieces in but 5 of them will not turn with right mouse click & they need to be turned. I did turn one, just one click, after many, many clicks ,but that was all. Can't finish the puzzle & move on

I found that you have to just keep clicking to get the pieces to rotate. They have to be over the spot where they belong too. On another jigsaw puzzle further along if you double click the pieces they rotate so try that too. I have played and finished the game and completely enjoyed it. I second NYLady in her "what I like" and I did find the tutorial a bit annoying, but the game is fresh as far as having different minigames that fit with the story and which are varied. The game is a little short but really fun.
Thank you BFG for another winner and for listening to what we like. yay bravo

I finally finished the game. It was cute but a little on the easy side after playing the Azada games and Magic Encyclopedia. Kind of fun being a sexy fortuneteller. The guy with the birds had cute dimples.

On Level 30, disregard the instructions for the jigsaw puzzle. You have to click and drag the pieces. To rotate the pieces you have to double left click. Took me forever to figure it out.

Don't forget to find the 3 jewels in each scene, even if it's the same graphic scene. There will be 3 more jewels. Use the jewels to shop and buy hints. I always need a ton of hints for the "find the difference" pictures and this game has the dreaded triple picture!

Oh yeah, timer is optional. Yippee!

Thanks BFG Guy. I Played the demo and bought the game. Graphics are beautiful, and I like casual games that talk to me so I like it when Nostrodomus speaks, he has a pleasant voice. Mini games are a real treat and varied in styles. I have no complaints with the game thus far. Someone said it was easy, well I have to admit I have bought a few hints before. I love the fact we get 3 different kind of hints and it isn't hard to find the gems so we can shop at the store.

I played the demo the game was interesting and sometimes too easy to find things. I played on Vista had no problems the only thing that was annoying was the constant pop ups. I found that to be distracting for the game. I passed on this one.

Quite a good game, I played the demo and then purchased it. Took me a total of 3 hours to finish.

Can someone please tell me how to put together a pizza? It is on level 12 if I remember right and the photographer remembers the crow getting in the way of his picture and must have stolen the ring.

Anyway one of the hidden objects says "fix the pizza"
I know which piece of pizza they want but when I try and put it together with the pizza pie on the table it doesn't fit, or let me rotate it. Please can someone advise me what to do with the piece of pizza? How do I get it to fit? help

I used a clue to make sure it is the right piece of pizza since the pieces are scattered all over the place. They only want one piece to fit right?

Thanks in advance
Sherryah

You need to put all the pieces of the pizza back. There are 2 plates of pizza in the scene. I hope this helps. wave

Thanks Connie, I didn't know there were 2 plates. Do we use all the pieces of pizza? Will they automatically fit when we click on the right plate?

EDIT..................
Because of what you said I figured it out and finished the level. Thanks again. I love the celebration of fireworks graphic when we complete a level.

EDIT UPDATE ..................................
Finished the game and enjoyed all the various mini games as well as beautiful graphics. Didn't know this is an exclusive from BFG congrats on a beautiful game. The only thing I didn't care about was the fortune telling room. However the hidden object games have very clear graphics also. Hints are plentiful and no timer. Looking forward to a part 2 sequel to this game as the ending said.
