Has anyone figured out how to open the chinese box?

I think it is the key for the clock, desk and car.

Thanks.

Yes it is the key for the clock...the front piece slides down and the box opens.

Richard,
Here's the link to Hardy Boys partial walkthrough.

Christy,
Mordack sent me the solution. I added it to the partial walkthrough - check it there.
I am not there yet.

Thank you MaG for the link to the partial walkthrough. I will be looking it over tomorrow when I can get back on the XP. I spent this afternoon trying to figure out what I missed in Chapter 2 and why I am stuck hardwall

For some reason this game has a "floaty" cursor in Vista, and it works fine on XP, at least on my HP's.

Thank you for putting up the partial! thanks
