The measurements are in documents. It is the item he needs the = measurint tool - I can't get him to use. I don't know how to explain better.

Jorja,

From the WT, Inner right shelf: Go left from the far right shelf. Press the spacebar to see where the active items are located.

Take the pyramid and the knife with a mother of pearl handle from the end shelf.

luck :wave12:

Please check your inventory, it might be there already.

Go to the row of shelves right of the desk (not the far right one).
Press the space bar and see active spot at end of the shelf.
The knife dhould be there.

Cookie,

I was checking the WT, maybe I'm missing it but I don't see anything mentioning to give the black sphinx to the monk. think :wave12:

Hi cookie,

Did the monk give you the host already? Check your inventory.
Has he also mentioned needing clean water?

Why can't you leave the scene? If you select the sphinx and talk to him he should advise you to smash it. You do need to leave him to collect the water though.

Well, I'll put my two cents in if it's worth anything now. I'm almost finished with the game and have been going through it with no problem until now. I'm in Dracula's castle and I've gotten passed the armory scene and discovered the correct pelor shield. I next put the bowl of blood as highlighted so it shows in the upper corner of the scene. Van Helsing is supposed to put it in front of Jada's room and when he goes to the room the bowl of blood is still up in the corner and has not been used. I have tried various places on the floor but he seems to go over to the door as if to open it. Jada appears and says something and he just stands back after she goes and says that he used the incorrect phrase. Where do I put the bowl of blood?

Hi maxcat,

Some things you could try, if you haven't already:

Fully read Harker's journal.
Use stake and hammer on Harker.
Destroy Dracula's coffin with the axe.
Check Irina's portrait in the grand hall - look closely at her hand and use Harker's glasses on it.

Then go back and try the bowl of blood at Jada's door again.

I have done all those things, Rushes and I still can't get Jada to drink the blood. The bowl won't even go to the floor. Is there a special spot, maybe, that Van H. should be putting the bowl?

maxcat, I'll go into my game and see if I can figure out what the problem might be. Be back in a few.

Edit: If you hit your spacebar you'll see all the hotspots in the room - there should be a hand icon on the floor in front of Jada's door. Place the bowl of blood on the tiles between the door and the carpet, as far from the door as you can be while getting the hand cursor. That should do the trick.

If you still have problems, I have made a saved game at this point, so just say the word. luck

Looks like I need that saved game, after going so far, I thought I was going to make it through the game without peoblems. I tried the spacebar and it did highlight an area away from the door. I clicked on it but Van H. keeps going to the door. Interesting though, there are footprints highlighted near that spot. Maybe Van H. should be in those footsteps?
