I just started at one and kept on going. You will have to mess some up in order to continue but it all works out. It took awhile, but very rewarding when done. luck

Well, I am trying to do the mini game at the bottom of the well--it has figures moving across the top holding symbols and figures on the side with symbols.

Am I supposed to match the symbols going across, or the symbols on the side, or both?????

Edit: Nevermind, as soon as I posted, I got it puppy

There is a walkthrough Here with the locations marked.
They may be random though, I am not sure.

I am new to the website but found the thread incredibly useful. One question I still have after beating the game a few times: The coffin puzzle. I cannot figure it out for the life of me. Does anyone know a secret or something I'm doing? Please help!

welcome to GameBoomers MsKatz. I moved your post from the discussion thread to the Help thread. Did you see the walkthrough link in the first post? Let me know if you still have troubles after looking at the walkthrough.

I'm going to start playing this game later this afternoon.
Are the saved games saved on my hard drive or are they saved on the Bigfish server? If they're kept on the server can I make a backup copy?

Thanks

The saves are in your computer.
Backup copy - on some Casual games I uninstalled, they are still there when I reinstalled. I think you can make backups of them.
For the long adventure games - they are same as the usual installing that you have done.

Thanks for moving me Ana. I did look through the walkthrough (I wouldn't have made it without it!) but there is nothing specific. Is there something I'm missing?

Are you referring to the puzzles that make the coffin appear Here on this GameZebo screenshot?

wave Hey, all!

Whew! Got past the terrible trolls and now I'm really into the story. Got the last typewriter key and was able to open the third door!

This game is massive and I'm lovin' it!

It is fun isn't it Darlene. I am a bit ahead of you. I worked for over an hour on one puzzle and was really tempted to skip it, but just kept at it, and boy was that a great feeling when it finally was solved wave

I found that much harder than the trolls, though it took me quite a few tries to beat them lol

Sorry Ana, I think it's the one way before that, the one that sets Rose's spirit free. You slide 4 colored blocks onto corresponding squares. It gives me the fits. smile

I think I remember the one! It's like the warehouse games where
you move boxes if I recall. I can show you the moves if you post a screenshot. The directions are Here. YOu can email me the screenshot also and I can do it that way.

Wow! I finished the game last night! Loved the last puzzle--well really loved all the puzzles (with the exception of the trolls which I would have loved and replayed if hits on the body counted or the timer was more generous).

bravo bravo bravo again to BFG! puppy

At the start of the game.
3 questions.
Where are the saved games kept on my hard drive - need to start over again and I want to delete the first save that was probably automatic.
How can I exit the game? I don't see a Stop/Exit option like you normally see in games.
I had to use Ctrl, Alt, Del to end the game.
I found a lot of the objects at the start but none of them appear in my inventory.

Get the feeling that this is going to be a challenging game.

Thanks

RAL, I don't know where the saved games are, but you can start with a new name if you want to.

Are you sure you need to start over?

To exit, click on the Menu button under the CaseFile book on the lower left of the screen.

A window with some options opens in the middle of the screen.

Click on the Menu button of the lower left of that screen.

That takes you to the Start Screen.

The "Exit" button is near the middle of the bottom of that screen.

Click on Exit and you will get the "are you sure". Click "yes" and you are there.

Most of the objects will not appear in your inventory. But the ones that you need will go into it. Some you will pick up and others you will get at after you have found all the hidden objects in particular screens.

It's a lot of fun! luck
