You're doing great, Betty. You'll need to experiment with that last one, how close you need to get to it, and how wide you need to open the claw, trial and error. It might take a few tries but you'll get it eventually. Let us know how you get on, or if it's too frustrating and you would prefer a saved game, just say the word. luck

Hoorah! I'm finally at the end. But the rocket launches to the right angle. The wires are connected correctlly. What have I done wrong? Thanks, Betty

Glad you made it past the chemicals. bravo

Check that you're using the correctly shaped fins. Also that the nosecone is fitted in place.

Check the chalkboard and see that the rocket drawing has fins at the base.

From walkthrough -
Fins: Look at the base of the rocket and see that there are no fins attached.
Go back to the sink area. Check the buckets under the table. There are 3 kinds of fins.
Take the fins in the middle bucket. It is red with a white circle.
Place the fins at the base of the rocket.

I had already put the red with white circle fin on the base of the rocket. Opened the box and arranged the wires correctly.
Next I went to control station, put in key, turned to 90.1, pressed left switch, got greenlight, pressed middle switch, got red switch for launch. Rocket goes off but angles to the right. What now? Thanks. Betty

Betty, did you climb the ladder and place the nosecone on top of the rocket?

Did you manage to get the rocket launched? If not, it might help you to go back to a previous saved game and replay through this part, there's something somewhere that's not quite right to send that rocket off at an angle. luck

I did go back to another saved game and still got to the launch without success. Could it be something about placing the fins? Could there be a saved game? However, I was hoping that I could solve this problem. Thanks. Betty

Can you send me your last saved game, Betty? I'll take a look at it for you and let you know what the problem is so you can continue and finish the game.

Open up a new e-mail, and click on the paperclip icon along your toolbar. This will take you into your computer files. Go into My Documents and locate your Castle Malloy game folder. Open the folder, and you'll see all your current saves for this game. Double click on the last save you have there and it will attach itself to the e-mail. Add my e-mail address from my profile, and send. smile

Hi Sandra,

Watch the coloured balls moving from left to right at the top of the screen. As each one meets the circle at the far right, click that corresponding colour on the drum. Hit the drum too early or too late and your score may be subtracted, so make sure the ball is inside the circle before you click.

luck, let us know how you get on.

There doesn't seem to be a set number. Sometimes it's possible to get through on a low score, whereas other times a high score won't please Donal and you'll need to replay. Keep trying and you'll make it, but let us know if you're still having problems.

Hi, I just registered here beccause my daughter and I are playing Nancy Drew Haunting of Castle Malloy and cannot get the sheep herded and she is actually in tears. I wonder if someone would give me a game saved beyond the point of the sheep fiasco.

Thanks so much in advance.
