My problem seems to be when I accomplish getting all of the ghosts and go back to the computer in the library and punch in the password I find that the clock is still clicking and so I wait to see if it will do anything else and nothing. What do I do? Do you suppose the game is not working right or what? I need some input here? Thanks bunches!!!

Hi Candy,

I remember that this timed puzzle gave me a headache!

Your problem could be one or more of these things:
1. You've missed a ghost somewhere along the line - count them as you go, there should be 13.
2. You've run out of the allotted time allowed for the puzzle.
3. Do you need to press Enter after typing in the password?

If you still have problems, let us know. luck

Ok, I am done with the ghosts and back on the 2nd floor in Nancy's room and trying to set the clock, my question is can the clock be set to 3:15AM...I have tried and cannot seem to get the job done, I am not sure it can be done.

From memory- you set your clock to wake up at 6am or 8am - whatever time however you are automatically woken up at 3:15am if it is at that stage of the story.

Try just setting it to 6am and see if that is what happens.

Candy,

Please use one thread per game. You can find all your posts at top of the page in 'My Place' then My Posts.
This way we can follow your gameplay and you do not push another active thread (member) off the front page.

I combined your 2 threads together.
Thanks for your cooperation.

BellaRosa, Thanks for your help.

Candy, I believe that you can set your alarm for any time you like. Click on ALARM, use the arrows to set the time and then press SET. Nancy will then sleep & wake up at the set time. Note however that 3.15am is the time when the game wakes Nancy automatically, so there's no need to set your alarm specifically to that time. luck

Nancy,

Again we are requesting that you use one thread per game. These are 3 threads combied into one already.

Are you asking for a saved game?

Nancy,

If you're using XP OS, open C or main drive.
You should see the Nancy Drew folder.
Open that and you should see the Blackmoor folder.
Open that also. Inside should be the saved game files. They are text files.
If you have the saved game files sent to you. Add that to the rest.

The difficulty might arise that only few saves are seen on the load screen when you play the game. This is on older Nancy Drews. They changed the porcedure on the newer Nancy Drew games.

To get them to show, make a new folder inside the Blackmoor folder.
Take some of the older saved game files you have and place them inside the new folder that you made.
Leave the latest ones and also the saved game sent to you.
Then load and scroll to look for the one that was sent.

Mag, I have a question? When you send a saved game where do you get them from? I have looked for some saved games for my game Blackmoor Manor and i could not find anything so I do not know where to go? Am I supposed to know where to look or is that supposed to be just for you as administrator.

All what I send out are my own saved games. A lot of our members and mods have their own saved game that they keep to help the other members.

There are several sites online that have saved games that you can download. Two of them is Nicouzouf and the other is SaveGamer Server.

Just turn all triangles right side or pointing up to signify the fire sign triangle. See what happens. luck

Did you click on the panel itself so that it extends?
Have you done the other side of this panel at the west hall passageway?
