Please tell me which picture is the star in? In the picture please tell me where it is located? Again I am speaking of the darkened room in Viktors main room. The candle won't melt yet is it because I need to get the last item and then return to the chinese woman's room and the candle will be melted?

THe star is on the wallpaper I believe.

I am going by memory, but I believe it is near the lamp on the right of the door. It is part of the wallpaper pattern.

Alas, Ana thank you anyway but I clicked on all the pattern on the wall paper by the lamp to the left of the door, because that is the only side with wallpaper in Viktors room. We are talking about the bathroom door right? I finished the bathroom and of course it isn't accessable to me now. It looks like I am stuck in chapt. 3 and won't get to see the candle melt in the chinese womans room, without finding that dreaded 1 star. nothing twinkles, for me on the wall paper pattern, nor even looks different.

Try looking by the light where I have the pink circle. It should be one of the wallpaper spots there.

I found the star in the wallpaper like you said! Words cannot convey my thanks enough! I was on the brink of defeat and now I have the victory!

Can someone kindly tell me how to turn on the music store lights?
I have found all the items that were written in bold letters, but now all the items are written in light grey letters. Does this mean I must turn on the music store light to proceed? I am in Chapt. 4. Thanks in advance.

Can someone please help me with getting the heck out of Paris. I am trying to find all the symbols on the houses, and even with the walkthrough on BF, I still can't find the last lightning bolt and getting a little frustrated.

I'm trying this game for the third time. I'm heading to Vienna. I cannot find the small paddle in Victor's room in the dark. Appreciate any help if anyone knows.

EDIT: I knew if I posted I would find it and I did.

I didn't even see the many posts on this game, had my credit and was thinking about coming here to see what advice I could find on what game to get. Then I saw it and purchased it. I would never have imagined being so thoroughly hooked on IHOGS. What a great deal of fun and frustration this is. Squaddie, I found four lightening bolts and it wouldn't give me the address. I then checked the WT and there were only four to be had so I skipped that part...this time. Hope it doesn't happen again. Funny thought: people all over the globe straining to see and find tiny objects hidden on their computers.

I had the same problem finding the last lightning bolt. I checked the Big Fish forum and found that it is located low on the same house, partly hidden by the trees. You have to move the view a bit to see it. The walkthrough did not include all of the bolts. There are 6.

Well I will check again. I started the game over again in hopes of seeing it with fresh eyes, but once again got stuck on the lightning boltz. Lotus777 how did you skip that part. I can't go further in the game without the address? And your right, it's really nuts to think of all these people, straining their eyes, necks and backs just to see tiny little things on a computer screen. What's the saying "small things amuze small minds"? Well if we had small minds we wouldn't be able to sit for hours staring and staring. LOL

Squaddie, if you can't find all the symbols, just click "skip puzzle" and you should have all the addresses.

I wanted you all to know that there is a new version of Serpent of Isis available on BFG; it not only fixes an inventory bug that some people experienced but it also adds a flashlight to help you look for small and/or in-the-dark items! That should really help, and I was very happy to read about this improvement.
