Do you replay older games, while you have a stack of new ones not yet loaded? I find I replay older games as if they were casual, in between new games. Especially those that I can play without the CD's. I have the old copies of games, but am buying the newer copies, so that I can install and use without disks. Yes! I'm a keeper of games, books, ect. It must be a BAAGS problem. So replaying, Broken Sword I, Secret at Lock Ness (needs the CD), and Syberia I, while playing ND-Haunting, Nikol and still trying to get out of the mine in Mummy. Yes, I definitely do this! Probably more times than is healthy. I'll often find little details I missed on previous playthrough(s), and often I find the game's story will grow on me even more. Granted, I'll already know how to solve the puzzles, but I play for the full experience And the story is generally the main attraction for me. I'm currently replaying Gabriel Knight 1, and I've been discovering many amusing as well as poignant remarks I'd missed previously, just by clicking the different icons on everything in each screen. It makes me appreciate and enjoy the game that much more.

I will replay a game..Only If I have nothing else to play.. I tried replaying them, but I find I remember everything about it & its not fun anymore..I get bored I think I would replay more often ,if they came out with a game, that would have a different ending every time you played it...

I install an oldie (sometimes a positively ancient oldie) every few weeks and yet I am still nowhere near having re-played all the oldies I have that I want to re-play And anyway, although obviously not everyone is of the same opinion, I feel that many of the oldies kick many of the newies waaaay into touch - apart from graphics, possibly

I love to replay my favorite old games. However, I have so many games that I haven't played yet in my collection that I am trying not to do that till I whittle down my unplayed list a good bit. Some of my favorites are the Gabriel Knight series, the Tex Murphy Series, Dagger of Amon Ra, King's Quest 6, the Broken Sword series, The Longest Journey, etc...

I do replay some older adventure games, especially old favorites. For a long time I had a comparatively few adventure games and a very old computer which wasn't online, so I replayed those I loved best quite often. For quite awhile I had the solutions to Myst, Freddy Pharkas, Eric the Unready, Journeyman, & Return to Zork memorized (in RTZ this was only to the point where I was always stuck - this was fixed after finding Gameboomers & getting a walkthrough years later). I played King's Quest, Space Quest, & several other Sierra games over and over too, but as much as I enjoyed the humor, I never finished ANY of those..too many timed bits. If you include action adventure, then you could count Nintendo's Zelda, which I replayed quite often (and still do). But now I have literally dozens of adventure games I haven't played after getting great bulk deals on Trading Post & catching them cheap offline around here. Family now knows to buy me adventure games new for Christmas & Bday - so they do. I wonder sometimes if I will EVER catch up. Probably not, but at least I'll have that warm, fuzzy feeling of lots to play when I get the chance Just the same, old favs still call to me. I still replay Zork:GI & RTZ now and then. This winter I have been replaying of all the main Zelda games. Just about finished with Majora's Mask. heh Susan

Unfortunately I don't have any new unplayed games Scary!! About replaying, then I've just recently replayed all my classic oldies, so can't even do that! But I love replaying them occasionally And there's no more casual games I want. What's an old woman to do? LOL

Do you replay older games, while you have a stack of new ones not yet loaded? Yes -- especially if I haven't cared for the new ones I've played recently. I'll go back and play an old game I remember I enjoyed. Sometimes I even play an old DOS or early Windows game that I never got around to playing before rather than playing a new game from the current year.

I love playing my old favorites and treasure them but it is always exciting to receive a new one to play and add to my collection and maybe it will also become one of my favorites. I do agree with Orchid Girl about the graphics in the new games are much nicer which I really like a lot . Right now I have no new ones to play so, this is the time to choose an old game to play, which I am glad I do collect and save my games, so I do have them to replay .

I keep a old 98 computer to play older games. I find myself playing oldies more and more. The newer games are getting to be all alike. I will play a new game and follow it up with a oldie. My replay favorites are, All the Myst games,URU too. Sanitarium,Bad Mojo,Blackstone,Syberia's,Amber.Grim Fandango, Nightlong,Shivers,Broken Sword's,Darkfall,Scratches, Obsidian and Morpheus. I am always surprized at how much i forgot from playing it before. And the new things i see.........Ron

Maybe its an old age thing, but, I rarely buy new games anymore. Or, maybe I've gotten too particular. Like, a Jonathan game I will buy immediately w/o any information about it. There have been too many games in the last few years that just aren't that much fun or interesting. Same old same old. So, yes, I certainly DO replay old games and still enjoy them as much as ever.

Not only do I personally experience great pleasure from re-playing my old, very old and even ancient games but I also feel I'm paying tribute to those gifted people who first thought of such a thing and then translated thought into action Because without them would we be playing the sophisticated games of today ??
