You are saying that the story is somehow communicated without any language? I agree that in a game like (for instance) RHEM, the use of language is very limited, and you could technically play the game in another language -- you wouldn't know why you were there or what your motivation was, but you probably still could play the game and get enjoyment from it.
But Still Life 2 is a mystery game, and if you don't know the language, how can you possibly understand the nuances of the story? Yes, you can mechanically use an inventory item on a hotspot, but you would very often not even understand why you were using it.
Just because it's possible to enjoy another game (Unwritten Tales, for instance) in a language that you don't understand doesn't mean that you are necessarily equipped to judge Still Life 2 when you don't understand the language.
Is your opinion just your opinion, or were you swayed by trying to read the German forums, translated by something like Babel Fish?

Perry Thank You for your opinion on the game...I do hope they make an English demo...I am a bit concerned about the walking around in darkness.... There has to be some kind of plot or story or something tho I guess I will have to wait for more opinions or maybe a review will come soon..

Perry Did you play through the whole game or just the demo? Edit: Nevermind - just noticed you bought it

Perry, did you play the entire game? The reason I ask is, the graphics and the inventory issue wouldn't bother me, but the lack of other characters definitely would! Perhaps if you haven't played the full game yet, you just haven't run into any other characters yet? I hope this is the case, as I am really looking forward to this one. I'm sorry you're so disappointed with it. Glad to hear you are enjoying The Book of Unwritten Tales, at least. It does look quite good.

I really loved the first Still Life . I hope it isn't like we are being told here. I was looking forward to it. Also I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it will also be available in hard case and not just in download form . I see in the Latest and Upcoming Adventure games section on GameBoomers it is listed as download. I am hoping it will also come out in hard copy if not right away at least shortly after. No matter what is said here I probably will still buy it in hard copy if available that way, because I loved the first one. So I gota have the 2nd one .

Trinny, the download will be first, followed a couple months later by the hard copy. Ana

I haven't been able to find a demo Ispace. I don't understand how you can play a game for 5 or 10 minutes and blow it off that way. There is still about 10 or 11 hours of gameplay left. I've been looking at a lot of pics of the game and some of the pics are bright and pretty. I can't wait for the hard copy to come out. Cathy

Just found these Screenshots Here...They don't look dark at all Thanks, Jon Costa The only thing I would find a pain...Is putting things back on table & having to return later to use an inventory object..

Thanks Jon, looks to me like a normal adventure game. How did you get English subtitles? I thought it was all in German? We have great screenshots here on GameBoomers also. Ana
