Great Nancy. On with the game.

And do not forget to hit that edit button to add a comment if nobody posted after you. Thanks.

I am having trouble renumbering the saves for slider. I went to my document folder for Hunt for the Puppeteer and saw other saves. Now now do I renumber the saves from e-mail I downloaded
and add it to the other saves. Sorry to be such a dumb-dumb, but I truely don't know how to do this. Other people seems to have no problem. I also read the hints for downing loading and saving for Vistas, it still does not help me. I need step by step directions. Thank you so much for all your help

Download the files to desktop.
You check the last number in the folder in My Documents.
Then you renumber the downloaded files at desktop to be the last number.
Then - take those renumbered ones and palce it with the rest of the saved game in My Documents.
Close all folder.
Play-load as usual.
Scroll on load screen at start of the list - to look for the saved game luck

I have my own 'thread' for this game but see here (so many pages!) that several have requested the saved game for just after ~ marking the tire/tyre in Spain ~ Could you please send that save to me too? Thanks Mag, Rushes, etc.
Love, Betty Lou

Dear Rushes, I just re-read your reply, and immediately taped the fingerprint to the paper. Bingo, that was it, same as Nancy, sorry to be a bother. On with the game, but I'll probably be back, seems like there are a LOT of postings. Let's all hear it out there for Gameboomers Forums, you gamers!! Hip-hip-hoooRAY!!! Thanks again, Marqoz

You're welcome, glad you got the save to work for you. Have a go at the slider when you reach it, you may find it easier than you think. luck

Make sure that they both have the same number, to follow on from the current last save in your folder. i.e. save0012.png and save0012.aom. One is an image file and the other is the data file, so they need to be numbered the same.

Once you've renumbered them, copy and paste the files into your game folder along with all your other saves. Or you can drag & drop - whichever works best for you. smile

Edit: You'll also need to scroll right to the beginning of your saves within the load screen to find the ones that I sent to you, as they are displayed in date order.

Thats what i did I did change both
and when I look at my folder it looks correct,
If my last save was 0024 I change the new save to 0025.
The 0025.aom is listed before the other 0025.
Is that correct? Thank you
Chris

Yes, that's right. From your in-game load screen did you scroll all the way down to see if the new save is at the bottom?

I have tried both ways here and they work:
- tire in water and then take the pen and click on tire in water.
- Or click on tire in inventory with marking pen.

Ah - do you mean you don't have the marking pen? It is on the desk of the antiquarian.
