Greyfuss, I do remember dying in the first one and it was 3rd person. There were action scenes, but I do not recall if they were timed. I remember running away and coming back to a few scenes.

Man, the ole memory just ain't what it use to be. Just like the Old Brown Cow. Are you sure it was 3rd person? I sure don't remember seeing Mina until the comic strip scenes.

I wonder what the helicopter is doing ditched in the water. It looks like you play as Mina and as the monkeys.

Greyfuss, I double checked on L4L's Review Here and it also states 3rd person.

I remember alternating and playing as the monkey in the first one as well.

OK...Is this Candid Camera and everyone is playing a good joke on ole GreyFuss right? I just couldn't remember seeing Mina in the game and I thought I was going bonkers so I researched a little more for my own sanity. Another review at Four Fat Chicks states the game is First Person and all the screenshots I've seen are first person except for the beginning and ending scenes.....come on Sheriff...where are the cameras? You can come out now.

First person. All Kheops' games have been first person. Remember being able to pan around? My memory may not be so good either, but I've replayed the game often enough to counter that.

Actually, all ***Kheops' games*** are first person.

Oh Ana, what a silly mistake, what an idiot It has been my favorite game for years and is always high on my " best games list " and just ticks so many boxes. Mina is my type of heroine and Jep is just sooo cute. As in real life you can overcome the problems (aka puzzles) in many ways, lighting the fire, collecting food, cooking, making a knive - at least 4 ways to solve each of these - so you can play it many times. Real value for money.

"Prequel" seems to be the wrong word. All the definitions I've found are along the lines of "a literary or dramatic work whose story precedes that of an earlier-written work." So a previously published game in a series cannot be a prequel.

This is great news. I love RTMI. It was the very first adventure game I had and I still like it. Can't wait for the next one.

Anyone else think that the first game showed too less of the interior of the Nautilus?
