No problem that it was done recently. I seem to recall posting a clue for the game that was just guessed, figuring everyone would think it was a red herring when it wasn't. I'll be back soon with a clue.

Okay, here it is. I’m going to try Bernard’s idea of presenting clues woven in through a brief text adventure. All Name the Game clues are in bold italics. They might also contain links to Youtube videos – the videos are just for fun and don’t add anything extra to the clue itself. You can guess the game or give responses/instructions in the text adventure, or both. You are standing in a forest. To the North is a large pine tree with snow-laden boughs. Standing beneath the tree is an elf dressed in red and green, smoking a pipe shaped like a butterfly. To the South is a Rose of Sharon bush in full bloom. A courting couple sits on a wooden bench in front of it. East is a young man wearing a pink shirt with a blue sweater tied around his neck. He is playing a baguette. In front of him is a sign that says: “Parlez-vous français?”West is a path, winding away through maple trees that are rapidly losing their yellow leaves. You are carrying a backpack. In it is a polished stick, a book titled “Seasonal Change for Dummies” and a gold ring. _>

Hi Skeeter -- the text adventure takes on a character of its own, separate from the clues for Name the Game. So far the only "true" clue for Name the Game is: “Parlez-vous français?”
A booming female voice from out of nowhere says: "Becky cannot manifest in physical form in this universe. Try something else."

(Very silly video, oh Medieval One!)
>Walk North and speak to the elf under the tree.
Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go.

>Walk North and speak to the elf under the tree. You walk North, your feet now deep in the snow. The elf looks at you, puffs on the pipe and releases an image in smoke that looks like a ship with two masts, furled sails, and sailers walking back and forth on the deck.“Aren’t you cold, standing here?” you ask him. “Not while I have me pipe,” he says, laying his finger aside of his nose and giving a nod. “Aren’t you hungry?” “Not while I have a job to do,” he says and goes back to puffing on the pipe. You then notice that there is a gold coin in the snow near his foot. _> >speak with the courting couple in the south. As you walk South the snow on your shoes melts rapidly, leaving your feet sodden. Your boots squish as you cross the forest clearing to speak to the courting couple. The young woman is dressed in a long plaid gown, her hair is arranged in elaborately curled tendrils. She is perfectly still. The young man is wearing a modern tuxedo, but otherwise bears an eerie resemblance to Napoleon. The young man jumps up as you approach and seizes your arm. “Help us!” he begs. “My true love has been frozen in time, the victim of a sorcerer’s apprentice's curse! Only the music of a bagpipe can free her.” _>
