By now you should be wiser Becky! lol
In my defence it was one of the first adventure games I played and I can't stand being beat by a box filled with chips.

Usually 2 to 3 hours, unless I really get wrapped up in a game and then will sit longer. Like many, I find I have more games to play, some even unopened, than time. At my advanced age (70+), there is only so much time left and I am more conscious than earlier of husbanding those hours for best benefit (sometimes, that best benefit being defined for me by spouse wink

Usually about 2 to 4 hours a day depending how hooked I am at the time!
I remember when I bought Final Fantasy 7 for my Playstation wow I would spend 8 hours and more a day on that!

Probably the longest non-stop for me is 6 hours and that was Oblivion. That game and I are soul sisters. However one of my glorious sons played Oblivion all day on a Sunday and until 2:30 AM that Monday. And went to bed. He called in sick at work at 8:15 AM and started playing again. Everyone, if we had games when I was going to school, I wouldn't have made it.

A series of 6hr+ stints with Black Mirror a few years ago resulted in me incurring gamers' elbow. laugh I tend to lean on my left elbow while I play (to scratch head in puzzlement/mop perspiration/feed myself treats/smoke *delete as applicable*). It became rather swollen. I guess I should've used some sense and leaned on a cushion.

These days on average I spend around 2 hours gaming. It all depends if the game is a good one and if I have the spare time.

Your 'elbow' is funny Rushes. I have a permanent callous on my left elbow from the very same thing! I also get a stiff neck when I prop it up on my left hand. So funny. I try to stop gaming when I 'hurt' and that lets me do other real life things. Or is it the game that's real life and other things are the game?Sometimes I get confused. think

I am on the computer everyday unless I am sick then I miss a day or so. I usually get on around 4:00 pm and then go to bed around midnight or so. There have been times when I have stayed on all night playing large file adventure games and I just can't tear myself away from it. My hubby thinks I am on the computer too much but he just will not say anything to me about it. He thinks I should sew or some other interest. He will throw hints at me and I know what he is thinking. I sometimes feel guilty when I don't get some of my household chores done, so I always try to make sure I do my chores and other yard and household duties, then when I get on the computer I don't feel guilty. Have a great day everyone. Trisha wave

So, how many of you ever missed out on unimportant things such as food, sleep, school, and job to play a game?:)

I certainly missed out many times on doing my school homework properly.
