Put me in a maze and I'm history after the first step, give me a slider and I'm in heaven. Ana May I send all my sliders to you please ?

Ramona, I panic if I have no credits, you must have lots of self control to wait. Looney, L4L, you certainly can! TLC, glad you are enjoying it. I finally downloaded but I can't tear myself away from MI2 to check it out. Ana

Hey Ana can I send my sliding puzzles to you also. I solved I think the only one I have ever been able to in Secret Files 2! And have no clue how I did it. I'm like you, can't quit playing MI2! So stumped but trying not to get help! I'm downloading the game for future gaming! Lori

No problem Paul- Rereading my post I can see why you might have thought I was insinuating ulterior motive when actually I was doing the opposite- and why you jumped on my post. As I stated I bought the game and have posted glowing reports to the games production values. I guess like you stated- that the way you portrayed the game as similar to RTR was taken too literally and gave me a higher expectation of the game then I would have normally. And of course because I do not always agree with you does not mean I am anti BF- just outspoken Anyway, I just completed the game- and will say that it was getting boring at the end to me. I did enjoy the story and wanted to find out what happened but it was tedious to finish. I guess this game could have been so much more with a few good puzzles thrown in. It sounds like Midnight Mysteries is going to be a series so perhaps the developers might take into account feedback such as this and their next game will make the greatest of great games as they sure have the basis down for it to be so

NYLady, we all have strengths and weaknesses. Put me in a maze and I'm history after the first step, give me a slider and I'm in heaven. No shame in not being able to do something. I am sure you can do plenty of things, I wouldn't dream of doing. If all games made were the same, we would be bored to tears. I for one enjoy all difficulties it just depends on how hard my day was. Have you played the new GHOST Chronicles where you choose your difficulty? Excellent feature to have, I agree! Ana I absolutely loved it! Best game of the year so far for me. So different but good. I played the lowest level. Can't wait for the sequel. The games are getting sooooo good. And this game- Midnight Mysteries is a close runner up to being a favorite. It's very long. I just finished the first mystery and have two to go! It does get harder and I use my hints! I think I'll save the 2nd mystery for tomorrow.

This game has everything, beautiful clear graphics, able to skip mini games, fantastic storyline, fun mini games, I like that I don't feel overwhelmed and not handed the entire list of hidden objects at once. I love the people giving their opinion of the crime, and the spooky characters that pop in unexpected.
The only way I could think of asking for improvement of this game, would have been voices to the characters. However I just can 't bring myself to take away a rave review because of the lack of voice overs.
I highly recommend this game to anyone that likes solving mysteries. I really like the way the raven points out where the hidden object is when we need a clue. There is no doubt where the raven is pointing, and the hints fill up quickly.
I hope there will be a sequel to this game with an option to have voices. I know when a game is a great game, I have a problem stopping long enough to review it. Ok I reviewed it and now back to playing some more.
I almost forgot I love the way when we find certain objects we use the objects so it is interactive Hog also. Also I love that when we highlight the hidden object we can see what the object looks like. One last thing when you click too many times a scary, mangy one eyed cat comes and hisses and claws at you! That is just too funny, and the only damage is he chases away the raven who has the hints, but don't worry the hints return quickly.
The game is easy on my brain where I have not needed a walkthru. This is another win for BFG I am sure.
What is really interesting is Edgar Allen Poe died in poverty and a drunk but the circumstances in which he was found before he died was a mystery.

I wasn't crazy about this game. I got bored with it before the trial was over and uninstalled. I'm getting tired of hidden object games.
Ever since I played RTR I crave more games like that. Or adventure lite style games. I love the Nancy drew Dossier games and games like The Legend of Crystal Valley. I would love to see more of those offered at BF.
I child-proofed my home... but they're still getting in!

I loved this game but when I shut down it causes my profile data to become corrupt and I have to start all over from the beginning. I did this twice and I give up. Writing to BFG. Shame too because I loved the game.

I uninstalled mine until they get it corrected. I started over twice & it lost some items I had to have. I decided that was enough. I do like the game though.

I never had any problems with this game except it was so short. I think I finished in like 2 hours.

Trouble saving game....I downloaded the trial and was ready to purchase the game. However when I went back to play it again it hadn't saved my progress. I tried again, exited the game and then came back to it. Once again on save...I would like to purchase the game but if I can't save there is no way I can play the game properlyl. Did anyone else have this problem? Thanks for the information..I will try this one again. Game still won't save...checked to see if I had administator privledges on my comuter (as BG suggested) and yes I do. So I guess I will have to pass on this one.

Linda, when did you download? They fixed that problem the other day. Delete the one you have and download again. Ana

Littledog, if you downloaded the game prior to a week ago, there is a glitch in the game as stated in this thread. You will need to delete the game and reinstall and I am afraid, you would have to start over. Ana
