My apologies, up front, if I am posting in the wrong area. I did try to follow your instructions.
Here is my situation now: I am at the control center, outside the room with the alien symbol. I push the right lever up all the way and slowly start pushing the other lever up. I get a comment that the motor shut down because I pushed it too hard. Is this just part of the game of did I do something wrong or leave something out? Luckily I saved my game right before that so I can keep going back and trying it again; although I am not thrilled about doing that. Do I just keep trying the same thing until I get it or now that the motor has shut down, do I need to go fix something?

No - its like a lead foot on the gas pedal of your car.

You basically want to maintain that middle bar at center.
So move one to top. Then baby the other lever to move the middle bar. Raise it - watch that middle bar and move the lever down if it looks like it will shoot up to the red.

Could somebody send me a save after the pit guarded by the monkeys. They keep throwing mud at me. Thanks

Kjos,You have to gang up on them. Go recruit more monkeys for your side.

Is this the first meeting?
As Geo asked, Have you recruited the 3 other monkeys - except Slugger and the sentry?
If so, it is easier to fight just the 2.
Try and see.

If you're carrying him, click on his picture in inventory file or what I do is go to a place that Mina can go (like climb a tree, muddy area). Then you'll see a selection at bottom of screen.

Thanks MaG! I have another question now too. I used all my clay making pottery, now I need it to make a mold of the green objects. I'm out of clay . . . where can I get more?

There are lights on the sides, you take a circuit that matches the lights on those sides.
You do logical deductions on the ones that has only 3 lights on the sides.

I think so. I went down to the muddy lake and got in but it wouldn't let me take anymore clay from my left side.

Tina,

You got 3 clays. One for the vase making and 2 for the molds.
I don't think you can get anymore.
When you make vases after the first run, you always have clay on the close up.
I better clarify that on the walkthrough.
You can go back and replay or I can look for a saved game close to where you are. Only thing is my gameplay will be different from yours.

I have a question on the circuits for the robot. If you accidentally fry a couple of the circuits and are short, is there somewhere else I can get additional circuits? I already disabled the Nemo robot.

I really don't know what happens. I usually go back to a saved game and retry. Don't forget to take the other circuits you used at the laser puzzle.

Well, I went to a previously saved game and saw that I had picked up 3 clays. When I started throwing clay, I think I put all three there when I guess I didn't need to. Pooey. I can't take any from the pottery wheel can I?

Ah no. I tried that for another gamer.
