The violet bottle does not use charcoal.
You have one charcoal for the other bottle.

Oops. I found it. Waaaayyy by its lonesome (almost) at the bottom corner of one tab. Easy for me to miss it. (I'm either very blind or very tired , or both! LOL ). Second bottle obtained.

Thank you for the save. I am now at the kiln trying to make lime but the only shellfish I have are the crawfish. One is cooked and one is not but it wont let Jep put them in the chimney. What do I do then?

If you missed picking up the shellfish, it can be found by the boulders on the shoreline, the same location where you may have already taken the can of dried out green paint.

Not sure but I think only Mina has the necessary know-how to operate the kiln and the various tools. Am I right Rushes?

Yes, Mina should do all the manipulations but Jep is the only one that can climb the rickety steps to the top of the chimney.

I finally got past the monkey attack but do not hear alien voices and when I click on symbol the vase fills with blue liquid but nothing happens, i dont hear a tune to play. I did break the vase sitting on top of the headstones. Did that do anything? Can you tell me what I am doing wrong or what else I should do?

How many monkeys did you befriend ? Ideally, you need 3: Amber (Slugger's girlfriend), Leonard (the painter), and the monkey whose baby you rescued from the lava scorched area.

Once you have those three on your side, all you need to do is pelt monkeys 1 and 4 in the sanctuary with peas (blowgun) a few times and your new furry allies will gang up on the remaining monkeys and drive them away

no worries MaG. Thought I would lend a hand after all the hands you lent me, AND while it was still relatively fresh in memory.

By the way, just finished Nikopol and I LOVED it, though I found one or two loose ends that need tying up.

Did you place the correct blue vases on top of the stands?
You have to replace that broken blue vase with another of similar design.

If the vase are done correctly, then you should hear the alien voice on the door at right. After that music that you should reproduce will be heard.

Whenever I try to put the vase on the last one, the monkeys start haveing a fit. Something to do with the bones. What do I do?

The monkeys makes a fit because of the vase that is there already (second from left). You broke that one, right?

So you're only placing vases on the stands now - so they should not make a fuss because the vases are empty.
Or am I not understanding?

Thanks for our help. I finally got in the cavern and am trying to learn the language. I am following the image in walkthrough as to where to place the cones but nothing is happening. Have I missed something? Or am I not doing it right?

There are 2 parts to this language machine:
1. Selecting the correct pipes. This is shown by the picture that has the blue cones on top.
2. Placing the correct blue cones on the correct pipes.
This can be solved by:
- listening to each sound that is made when the sentence is spoken. Then changing the blue cone on top of the pipe.
- checking which pipe has the correct cone using the number at top right of the screen. See which one is correct and which ones are wrong. Then replace (mix-match) them with other cones.

I just cannot get this language machine right. Is there a save for this one?
