Absolutist may have some problem, but I do not see anything about Green Moon????

I ran a complete analysis of my computer by Norton and nothing was pick up.

If I'm wrong about this, please can someone tell us.

It had nothing to do with the walk through...

The warnings came up from this site> Absolutist, that apparently was installed with game...I found a thing on my desktop from Absolutist...

Every time I open my browser I got all kinds of warnings from Avast that a Trojan was found....I sent the file to the chest...BUT...That didn't stop it....I opened the browser again & it came up again..

I never opened the WT site...So it didn't come from there...

Yesterday I downloaded the game trial for Green Moon from Absolutist, played the game for a while, and then uninstalled it. I have Avast and received no warnings about anything at any time.

Absolutist has to clean its site...I won't be buying or playing this game at all...

If you note, none of the warnings are about Green Moon or the link to the walkthrough. As I said before, I have downloaded both the game and the walkthrough (if you have a Google toolbar you can translate it from Turkish-which is the language of the w/t to English without having to scroll down), and have not had Mc Afee alert me about anything.

The alerts were for this site absolutist.com which is the site to download Green moon...

They have questionable Malware on their site that is directly linked to the downloading of the game Green Moon..

Its not the walkthrough site at all !!!

But its not the Wt site that is the problem..

As "Inland" stated it is the download site for the game only...

I hope this gets straighten out..Cause I was really into playing the game...Until all these warnings were coming up from Avast....After I uninstalled the game ,and cleaned up everything...My computer is now ok...

If MaG has written a walkthrough (thank you MaG :bravo12:) she must have downloaded and played the game.

Wouldn't she have noticed if she'd downloaded bad stuff along with the game ??

Mad, I personally think it is a false positive on certain anti-virus software but I can't be sure. I have contacted Absolutist and will post when I have something to add from them.

Just to add my two cents, before I installed the game I scanned it with AVG and Superantispyware and it came up clean. This morning I checked my AVG scan that runs during the night and it came up clean again with the game installed.

Now I am going to download it again..Then when Avast brings up a warning...I will post what Avast says..

It can't just be Inland & I who is having the problem..

But maybe someone can tell me what this Trojan is...

I have heard back from Absolutist and they have checked the Green Moon again and can guarantee that it is free of trojans, viruses etc. They also will have a new updated version of Green Moon up later today for those that may want to wait.

Darleen, I find it of interest that all the so-called infections on their website are not related to Green Moon and yet you state that you had all of these on your computer? Did you download all those games from their website? If not, you have had these trojans on your computer and you did not get them from this website.
The list that Inland gave is the same as yours, and he never stated that Green Moon infected his computer, just that the other games have something triggering the virus protection to alert. Not Green Moon.

I would not hesitate to download the game from Absolutist on my computer.

Thank You so much...I feel better now..I really don't remember what I downloaded...

I will download it again...I really like the game alot...

Its just that after I downloaded the game ..I was playing for maybe 5 minutes ..Then all the warnings came up...

So I did a search with malwarebyts, and nothing came up...

I was assuming that Farm frenzy was loaded on my computer through the download...I got really scared..

Is this a Myst clone type game (mostly puzzles on top of puzzles on top of puzzles with no character interaction and mostly 1st person exploration?) Just curious and it will save me from buying it if it is. Myst and all those of it's type are just not my thing.

It's a puzzle game like Safecracker.
It is first person.
It's like a scavenger hunt.
There are some character interactions with some characters at some locations.
I enjoyed the game.

Ah - EDITED - (I did not play 50 hours).
Maybe some gamers would need 50 hours of gameplay.

As for the places, there might be 300 different screens of several named location. For example, the house has 10 different screens plus zoom in screens.
