I'm having trouble with the site, too. There's a warning on the My Account page:"Since you're using Windows 7 you need to know, that the UAC (User Account Control) scan might cause the GOG.com installer to launch with slight delay (up to few minutes). Larger files will "generate" longer delay."
Maybe Win 7 is giving the entire website hiccups. I don't know about the installer since I don't see anything yet that I want to add to my downloads but I don't have the patience to hang around and see if individual pages on the site will load after a delay of minutes.

I'm not using Win7 and I'm having problems ....
I went to check that my purchased games were still showing on my account but when I attempted to log-in I was told my password wasn't recognised.
So I followed their procedure and changed my password - and was then told I could log-in.
When I tried to, however, I got the standard "This page is not available" error message.

Mad,
Have you gotten in touch with them through Support? I'll bet they're getting a flood of questions right now.

I was having trouble logging in but I hit refresh on my browser went back to the main page and when I hit my account I was logged in already.
anyway I had bought the Phantasmagoria package (with 1 and 2 for a reduced price) and had not yet downloaded Phantasmagoria 2 so I'm downloading now as I type.
Thinking about getting the whole KQ series and loading it on DVD.

Yes they seem to have trouble with pages loading, and sometimes you get an all-white webpage. But if you use the reload/refresh button on your web browser, the page may appear. It's not just the login screen. It can happen on any webpage.

I just tried to log-in again and although it was rather slow motion at times, I was eventually allowed access this time !!

Loved your comment " I think the stunt itself deserves a dancing tomato projectile salute." Haven't heard that before and I want to remember it for future use! Great comment!!!!

I agree, the stunt was terrible, but I am glad that it was ultimately a stunt. Good to see they are still around, as I really like their no DRM policy and wish more sites would emulate it. If they did, I wouldn't be so insistent on getting disk versions of the games I'm interested in every time. I'm really hoping they get Black Mirror. It would be nice to play the original, so I could appreciate the references in part 2 more.

I think the "Reach" chart at Alexa gives a pretty good idea of just how successful this stunt really was. On the other hand, there's been a sharp drop in the number of page views per user, and a sharp rise in the number of "bounces" ("The percentage of visits to gog.com that consist of a single pageview",) so most of that traffic probably came while gog was down for maintenance.

So the site is reopening as a bigger and better enterprise ?? Well good. The way it was handled ?? BAD !! Immature and irresponsible are two words that spring to mind That's my opinion anyway, for what it counts .... Touche`, Mad!
