I just successfully placed a download order for 'Tale of a Hero' through the adventuregameshop website. It wasn't exactly easy though, heh. Basically once I created an account and then clicked the button to buy the game through download, it opened a new window to the Toomai.it website which is the download distributor site for the game I guess. I had to register an account with them as well. In order to select USA under country, I selected Stati Uniti d'America. Once the account is set up I just kept moving on to the next step and then selected pay by credit card and typed in my AMEX info. The site accepted everything, and I am currently downloading the game now.

Tol, if you could come up with a patch to address the Italian captions for in game descriptions and inventory, that would be wonderful for this English reader/speaker. Thanks in advance and looking forward to this game!

Lakerz, did you see an option for PayPal when you got to the payment selection? I can see the little icon at the bottom, but I didn't see any way of selecting it. I don't have any of the other cards listed there, and I would really like to play this game.

I'm sorry to say, but no I didn't see any way to pay via paypal. I would have liked to go that route as well, but the 3 options I saw were pay by credit card, european bank debit card, or some kind of european electronic bank transfer. My interpretation of that was a foreign purchase would have to be done with credit card.

yes Mad, as far as I could tell, you need a credit card to purchase the dl of the game, unless one lives in Europe. You may have been able to use paypal within the adventuregameshop website, but once you click on the download version, a new window opens up for the Toomai.it site which I don't think takes paypal.

It's strange though because on the bottom right, among the logos of credit cards, there is Paypal logo too. Do you want me to ask them? If I write to them in italian maybe we got hopes to get a quick answer!

Venus, they are definitively taking Paypal. I was thinking that maybe I can create a series of print screens, a sort to how-to-do-it, if could help you to buy the game, what do you think?

Just went to order the game no PayPay. There are four different credit cards but no paypal. Would it be because I live in Florida.
