I am on my way again...now at the slider puzzle...does anyone have any suggestions on this one? Seems to be taking me forever to complete it...

Oh wow, actually did the slider puzzle. Now I have gotten 2 keys, entered several areas and picked up herculesroot,machine part and a map of the mazes in the tunnes (railway area) but am not sure what to do next...I have jumped over some rocky areas as Hyde and he says this is weak. But when he kicks it nothing happens. He then comments this can't be...however I thought of trying to use some of the herculesroot with the potion but I have no access to my inventory. Can anyone please put in the right direction here. Also, is there anything I have missed picking up here? Thank you for any suggestions.

You need to mix the hercules root with the potion. You should be able to access your inventory by clicking the button in the lower left hand corner.

I could use some hints again please. I finally realized I had to mix the root with the potion in my portable lab. Did that and jumped over the ledge and knocked down the stone column Now I am at the other side but don't know what to do. Am I supposed to jump up onto something as there doesn't seem to be a path to follow, only rocky ledges...this is in the tunnels where the railway tracks are located...help please...thanks.

Fianlly did move on. Thanks. Now need help again. I have made it to the area with the huge atatue- monster...and want to know how do I get past the area with the falling floor and swinging blades? Help please. Also picked up old spear and heated tar. Put on spear and got 2nd piece of horn...don't know where to go from here...do I have to get past the swinging blades now or later? Also attached rope to stalmite to connect upper and lower bridgeway. So do I need to go back to the lower area to do anything? Going around in circles. It would seem I need to pass the swinging blades but only guessing...help please! Thanks...hate that you can't save your game...

Hi if you got both the horns well done! I am still trying to find the tar to get the second one. For the swinging blades (you need to get past them to get to the large statue) look in your inventory for the piece of paper that spells a word like ikaria except in greek letters. these are the blocks that the floor after them is safe to walk on.

Oh thanks so much. Now if only I could remember where I found the tar...can't say exactly but I think I literally stumbled on it somewhere by the tracks near the workmans quarters...but not sure. I havfe been around and around and somewhat dizzy...ha ha.

Finally made it past the statue and another set of swinging blades..can anyone tell me how to begin in this next level please...I see some sort of tables and tablets. One seems to have a puzzle-mechanism...do I need to attempt this right away? No idea what it needs. I don't see much else here. A blocked area with a large obstruction, perhaps made of wood. Not sure where to begin. Thanks for any help once again.

I know what you mean -lots of paths. I found the tar. I think I am at the same puzzle as you so can't offer advice except I think we have to solve it!

Glad you found the tar...now to solve the next puzzle...if anyone has any hints help please...I am past the huge statue in a room with an area blocked by a large barrier. Tablets sitting on stands...one has a puzzle of sorts...don't know what to do next....only hint says, a clever mechanism...the others say, these can't be moved. I am running around in circles again. I have played around with the mechanism but it isn't helping me.Can't figure out how to get it set to move on....help please!

The tablets control the layout of the building. You have to make the map correct by using the levers on the top and left. You start with the first one on the left which is the only one available to you. I found it helped looking at the map in the inventory which loosely corresponds to it.
The trouble with it is you do not get a positive click or cut scene etc when you have done it right which I found really annoying. So you just need to make it look like the section of the map you have in your inventory then make your journey around the building which you will have created by your work on the tablet puzzle. Hope this helps.

Thank you. I thought it was something to do with the map in my inventory. O.K. then, I have tried several combinations of levers and still no progress...trying to follow my archive map in inventory is somewhat difficult as you can't view it while playing...I need a hint or two on how to achieve the best solution...I know...I should do it myself but hey I'm getting frustrated...keep getting notwhere

I have moved levers and removed the large obstruction left of the tablet tables area. But now I have a horizontal razor sharp mechanism moving so you can't get past it. I have tried to crawl under it or jump over it but no go...dead for sure...??? I have also looked through the forum and can't find anything to do with this puzzle. Am I the only one who can't figure this out? Have gone back and tried again..this time at the first barrier before I tried the puzzle I used potion to turn into Hyde...but he doens't accomplish anything. Can't jump over the barrier...so went back to puzzle. Managed to get new area with horizontal razor sharp strips moving. Again turned into Hyde. Managed to get through without getting killed. Ah, ha I thought, I have done something. But no...just end up in an area with a grate across doorway. As Hyde can't still can't get through....help someone please!

Hiya, did you make the potion yet that gives you extra perception (vision?) you need that to get through the horrid knive puzzles etc. as it slows time down so easier to pass through them.

edit: Sorry, saw your later edit that you got through the blades...are you still stuck and where are you in the game right now? was not sure what you meant by door with grate, what did you do/go before it where is it near?

Hi again, I am in the room with the tablets on stands. Two say this can't be moved. The other is the one with the levers...I have to move the levers I believe to resemble my archive map in inventory to move around this area. I need a hint on how to do this...have tried moving them over and over but not making any progress. I did move one barrier...large looks like wooden pieces that are quite high. Then got to a point where there are horizontal lines moving back and forth. These are deadly as I soon found out. However if I turn into Hyde at this point I can get through them...without too much damage to Hyde. However once that is done I can jump over an opening in the flooring to reach another area. Once there that is where there is a doorway that is closed off with a gated style barrier. I can't seem to do anything there so I can only go back to where I started out. The room with the puzzle-levers. I really could use some help and direction. This area that I am in is right after you reach the huge statue, insert the 2 horns and then get past the swinging blades to reach the room with the stands that have the lever-puzzle....thanks.

I have managed to get the first puzzle correct in the room with the tablets...picked up a snake and this allowed me to go to the next tablet puzzle. Here I am completlly confused and stumped...to say the least...and because I can't save my game I will have to start all over again at the first tablet puzzle. This is getting very frustrating..So my question is: can anyone tell me this: do I have to complete all 3 tablet puzzles to move on to a save point? I don't know if I can manage to get all 3 puzzles done without closing out the game. In fact I don't even remember what I did to get the first puzzle done correctly. I have even tried drawing out the map in my inventory but this isn't helping me either. I whined until my husband finally came to help me out and he can't get past the second puzzle either.
I really need some help. I can't find anything here in forums that is about this area in the game...can anyone direct me. I need to reach a point to save my game. I have the horrible feeling I need to complete all three tablet puzzles to do this...:( I am not getting very far so help someone please!

Oh wow,I know the one horn I had to use tar on the old sword to reach it. It was behind a gated area...now for the second one..it must have been in the same area as the first one but I just can't remember where exactly...sorry I can't be of more help. The problem with this game is you are in so many places and hoping to get to a save point...you tend to forget what you did a few hours ago..

I just can't get past the room with the 3 tablets/puzzles. I have done the first, got a metal snake. This opened up the 2nd puzzle for me. But I can't get anywhere with this one. I just can't get past his area. Is it possible to get a saved game just past this point? I know this is an autosave game but just asking. If not can someone give me some help on this please. I have to keep starting over because I can't save my game...very frustrating. Thank you for any help.

Linda, All three puzzles work the same way. You need to get a path from the botom to the top just like the first puzzle. The game will save after you complete the second puzzle.
