I am in a machine room after the room with the boxes...went up the ladder to get here. I solved the first area puzzle and the game saved. Now I am in a new machine ara but I can't see what I can do here. There appears to be only one hot spot and Jekyll says, ah more transmitters and electricity or something of that nature. There are stairs which I followed but they come to what appears to be a dead end. I can't see anything else in this room. I need a hint on how to continue on here. Thank you.

Yes, he says 'More symbols and transmitters'.
Look in your inventory, theres some 'items' from the last section. Use them and the machinery starts up.
Go upstairs for some jumping around.
You'll come to a revolving machine where you have to jump platforms opposite to its direction and land on a gantry on the other side. I managed this once then fell, couldnt do it again - too difficult. Managed to fiddle the save games to get me to the next bit which is jumping around lava again, but can't do that either so thats the end of the game for me!

Linda, I found the best way to do the revolving machine is to keep jumping a little past the platform you have to get to then let it rotate back to the platform. That way you have time to jump off without falling. Hope this helps you. I got past the lave that comes next but the end sequence is so difficult that I quit there.

Oh wow, sounds really difficult. I have seen other comments on the forum regarding players giving up. I possibly will be one of them although I really would like to finish the game. Will trugde on. Thanks for all the help.

Wow, I see what you mean about the platform sequence. I have a couple of questions: I managed to go from the first platform over to a walkway, onto another small platform and then over to another walkway. I think I am remembering this sequence correctly. The new platforms I am facing are rotating. After many attempts I managed to jump from one to the other without falling to my death. However I don't understand where these platforms are supposed to take me so I ended up eventually falling off. Exactly where do I go fromt these small rotating platforms. I would like to try again. Also is this almost to the end of the game? Thanks again.

You mean theres more than one version of this?
Publisher: bitComposer
Developer: Pixelcage
Date: 2010

Curious...
And if you've been playing it, which version have you been playing? How come you haven't bought it?

Sorry, Linda, I can't answer your query, I didn't get as far as you have.

i haven't bought it, but I'm planning to.
I posted a walkthrough a few days ago & was told (by you) that it was for a different version of J&H. So I'm totally confused.

I have am in the the part of the game where you
have to jump on moving platforms. I have made it from the first area to a walkway, which leads to a moving mechanism that I jump on, go around and jump onto a walkway. Once on this walkway I come to square platforms that are mobing. I can only jump on these there is no other place to go. Once on them I seem to only be able to jump from one to another going left. I have made approximately 4-6 jumps then seem to fall. However my question is this: what is my goal once on these platforms? I am supposing I have to jump somewhere but I can't figure out where? I have gone back and started this level 3 times now and I don't see any other options other than the ones describled above. I can't see any other area to exploere. Can anyone help me out with this? Also am I close to the end of the game? Thank you for any help here.

Linda, You have to keep jumping on the rotating platforms until you get around to the back side of the tower. When you get around to the back side there is a fixed platform you can jump onto. I fell off at least 100 times before I got there. If you keep at it you will make it.

Made it to where the girl falls and you have to jump on floating rocks to defeat the boss floating in the middle.thats it for me I give up.I fall to my death or get killed by the lightning bolts.Tried it over a 100 times. And of course with the crappy auto save system I have to start all over from the beginning of the level when I quit and come back!Does this complete the game here if you kill the boss?I will leave it on my HD maybe someone will figure out how to make an unlimited health cheat so I can finish it.

Well after hours of trying to figure out exactly when to jump onto the walkway from the rotating platforms I am tired out...have done this over and over. I managed to do the actually jumping but kept falling short getting onto the walkway....then my 20 yr. old grandson was over and of course he did it for me in just a matter of minutes. He is just visiting family for a few days then has to to back home to his girlfried and baby boy...wow could I use him to help me finish this game! I do have a question: now I am at a control panel that moves large crates up and down. Can anyone tell me where I am trying to go from here. I am supposing I need to jump from crate to crate to my next destination. Could use some hints for sure. The more I read the forum for this game I keep seeing how difficult it gets and people are giving up rather than finishing it. That is really too bad as overall I have enjoyed it. It's been a hoot to say the least! Anyhow on to the new crates ... will keep trying and come back to the forum to see if anyone has offered me suggestions on my crate solution. Thank you.

Hi Linda, does your grandson fancy a break in the UK? He can come and do the game for me lol!

So have you got through the lava-jumping part?
I've never seen the console/box lifting so I guess maybe you have.
Has the game saved a new save-game for this new part?

Linda, You have two more areas to go to before you hit the lava. That is when the game gets really tough.

I have reached the room with the star constellations. I have played around with the one machine that is active but can't figure out what I need to do. I don't see anything happening when I move the levers up or down. What is my aim in this room? Thanks for any help. It only seems I can activate one machine-levers at one time so I am assuming after getting the first machine done I can move on to the others.

Linda, There is a bar on each wheel. You need to adjust the bars to the same relative position as the bright stars on the constellation. In other words if the first star is three horizontal lines up from the bottom the first bar must be three positions up from the bottom also. Hope this helps, if not let me know.

I've done that and have hit him with one sword. But it seems that whichever gap I go to next, the revived "monster" goes the other way and starts turning swords. Where exactly can I position myself after using the first sword to get him before he starts turning the other swords? Thanks for any help.

I always had probs when the thing started to turn the knife machines, tho there are handles to turn them back again, I could never be fast enough. I would exit and reload the session and start from scratch.

Re: console puzzle:
What you have to do is click, to make disappear, 2 consecutive box patterns of the same type. Ex: Click the top group of 4 boxes. Then click another group of 4 boxes. Keep repeating consecutive clicks of same # groups. I don't remember how many times you have to do this before the fires from the skulls begin.
