I want to add that this game had several hurdles to overcome for me. First, while I'm not completely against occult oriented games, I do find them tiresome and spiritually enervating after a while. Voodoo Whisperer was good enough to get me past that emotional bias. Second, I was expecting a lot of annoying New Orleans historical bloopers. The game's attention to detail shines a light for technical and production values in casual games that I hope is widely noticed. Sure, anachronisms abounded but the sophistication of design more than counterbalanced that. As an aside, I'll have to look up the history of local political corruption. I will be shocked if any mayor was a misled good guy. I could be wrong.
