Hi Jenny
Thank you so much for your fast response. This has really stressed me out to the max.System info says Nivida 9400 M G
DX says this I don't see a date for last update for driver. is it included below? Did you look at my Qosimio X300 14 U at website? Are you sure it said 9800? Is there more DX info that will help to figure out what is going on?

EDIT
How do I do what you said to do below?
See if you can locate the video drivers the computer originally came with. You probably did update them at some point -- or Windows update may have done it if it offered new video drivers as part of a list of updates and you didn't check everything on the list.
EDIT AGAIN ...........URGENT
If I have two graphic cards installed on your Qosmio notebook and the nVidia driver WHY is it not mentioned in DX or system info? No mention of SLI. If I Screwed up and put update on wrong driver from Nivida instead of toshiba the warning is only drivers from Toshiba has the heat protection in it. Oh what a mess I am in.
Toshiba Forum said the drivers on the nVidia website are for desktop PC’s. You should only use the drivers from Toshiba because they have an overheat protection.
EDIT YES AGAIN..But really urgent you read this
and see if this is the problem. If so I don't have a clue how to fix this but the URL on Toshiba forum is where I read this and I will include the URL. Your right it should be 9800
Qosmio X300-13W - Is SLI enabled on 9800M GTS?

FORUM USER WROTE THE BELOW
Hi all, i have installed the latest Beta drivers from Nvidia, but you have to modify them a little,
as they are not recognized, because Toshiba has the drivers listed under them.
Nvidia does not step on the toes of dealers that use their drivers.
The hybryd set up, which is what we have in our systems, uses Physex and
also uses the on board 9400M gpu for when on battery , to save power.
SLI is enabled by playing in your power settings reachable by the screen saver set up.
Set it up when plugged in on battery to everything max.
Also, because this is a hybrid set up, Pcwizard,
and most other programs do not recognise it,
and list it falsely as something else, trust the Nvidia. It is running SLI.
EDIT...................FOR MILLIONETH TIME LOL
