Looks excellent..I'm looking forward to it.
I am slightly confused about how the control scheme will work--the reviewer wrote something about us only being able to go left, right, forward, and backward, instead of turning on the spot like in barrow hill. Is it supposed to be some kind of HOG layout?
Not so sure I like that. But we'll see.

It's not a casual game, it's like a regular point and click.

Jfcwilson -- none of us here have played the game yet (at least as far as I know), but all indications are that it's an adventure game and not unlike Barrow Hill.

makes me start wondering if BT will be an action/adventure game OR a pure adventure game? I think someone (probably BET) said it's adventure when I posted, asking this question before (several months ago but had forgotten about that post)?

Cruise02 -- anything is possible, of course, since (as I mentioned above) none of us has played the game yet! I would be very surprised if it's an action adventure. But then, sometimes I am very surprised.

Play.com has this for sale and "in stock". Does anyone know if this is true, as all the other sites have it "out of stock" or "preorder"?

I've had the game on pre-order with Play.Com for almost a year.
I've just visited the site and it is definitely NOT in stock ....

Won't be released until at least the 28th according to Iceberg interactive

Just out of curiosity, I checked for Bracken Tor on both Amazon and ebay, I fond several UK sellers offering BT for sale as a pre-order, the one I selected was 29.85 AU ($29.xx US) with free shipping and handling, so again, I couldn't resist and I bought the game. It says on the ebay page that it's guaranteed to ship the day before the given release date, listed as Oct. 28, or within 20 days of the purchase date (which in my case, is Oct. 10).

The reason I sprang for the game was b/c of the free shipping involved. This doesn't happen too often for when I buy games online from Amazon/ebay/half.com.

I received an email from someone at Iceberg today. Sometime this week a press release will be shipped out regarding Bracken Tor. Apparently they are currently waiting for the German version to be translated.
