mag, i've progressed past the 'stacking' items from renate's bag. now onto the colour-coding bit. towards the end of picking the colours, renate wakes up and ruins everything! i thought this had ended with the stacking? what am i doing wrong now? robert.

Hi robert, have you tried feeding her another piece of cake so she goes back to sleep?

When she wakes up - get the cake and then give it to Renate.
Then when she's asleep - open her bag again and see if you can do the bag puzzle now.

rushes, i'm at the castle finster book after inserting the cutout in the same page as else. there's no sign of renate in the banquet room. ?????? do i just go next to the security room to see the monster in the courtyard? robert.

When you placed the cutout over the page, did you read the words: "Third clock from left. Nineteen twenty one" ? Maybe re-check this part.

You'll only be able to see the monster if you receive the alert call first.

You can do this fast.

Try this - open the drawer.

Take the drawer key....
Click on ALL active things in there.
Turn the pages on all that should be read.
Then exit the room.
Check the walkthrough on what you should have done.
Good luck.

Please check if you have the Anja's key in inventory.

That saved game is after checking the drawer (it's done) - so the next step should be doing the cabinet now. luck

All the things needed to be done at the drawer is done - including the day planner.

So continue to the cabinet - from walkthrough:

Quote:
Cabinet: Go to the cabinet left of the desk.

Look close at the base of the cabinet. Open the panel at right and see the keypad.

Select: 5 - enter; 13 - enter; 15 - enter; 11 - enter; 9 - enter. See that the red light turns green for a correct entry.

If the Raid Game Guide is not read completely, the entries will not be accepted.

Employee files: Check the employee files.

Read Anja's resume. She has an impressive college degree and work history.

The reference letter is from Castle Cast. Nancy noted the phone number.

Robert:

The saved game I sent has the drawer - desk planner - key done. You do not need to redo them.

So load that saved game - then do the cabinet part I quoted above post from the walkthrough.

Please continue the walkthrough after you did Karl's office. See if that works. I'm sorry - now - I can't remember what was done in that saved game.

mag, don't ask me how i did it to get to this point but anyway, a monster has been seen on a security room camera. when i try to open a door to go upstairs to the glass room, nancy says she has to find the fastest route. it doesn't say so in the w/t. what is the 'fastest route'? robert.

Robert,

Are you trying to go to the furnace room?
If so - where are you now?

It really doesn't matter what route you take to get there.

mag, yes, i would like to get to the furnace room. i'm climbing the stairs to the mezzanine to the right of the small table with the candlestick. i can't get past the door because i am required to 'take the shortest route'. robert.
