Hi, JKEerie!

I took your suggestion and changed my screen resolution to 1024x768, and that did the trick, so I think I'll use my game club credit to buy it.

Thanks!

Susan

Bummer -- I've tried everything I could and I still have the small screen in the left corner. It looks like such a great game that I've been saving a game credit just for it.

I'll just pout and wait for the next game ... taz

Looney, a new version of the game just went up on Big Fish today that supposedly fixes your problem. smile

Hi, looney!

I just read Marian's post, so I downloaded the new version and I am now able to play in full screen mode without changing my screen resolution. Hopefully, it will work for you as well. Thanks, Marian, for the heads up!

I just started this game tonight and I am impressed. First impressions were a bit underwhelming and I'm glad I gave it a chance. Looney, you might want to reconsider. wink At first I thought it was going to be a game like Treasure Seekers, where the game was mostly pop-up/find-the-hidden-objects type, but it's not. While there is some of that, it is more like adventure light than a hidden object game.

The developer obviously put a lot of thought into this game, and it shows. The game also gets more interesting as it progresses.

I am stuck. (surprise?). Can only find 3 runes. Have looked at two w/t's and there is supposed to be another hidden object scene, but can't find it. Have even gotten into where the crystal should be placed. Have gotten as far as getting the pickaxe. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Found it. Thanks.

I'm following the walkthrough to a "T". I need to make a potion to heal the deer. I have the apple, I read the sign on the door... The walkthrough says to go to the cottage and click on the healing book...but when I do it tells me "You don't need to read this now."

How can I make the potion?????

Did you click on the deer so that it triggers the fact you need the potion?

Yes I did several times.

I think I may have broken a gaming record... I'm stuck in two games at same time. This one and Drawn. frown

I was stuck at the same place for awhile, and now of course I can't remember what unstuck me!

Have you completed all the other possible quests on the current list? Everything to do with the squirrel, for example?

Not sure... I gave the squirrel the nut. I have the apple and I went to the deer and it said he needed a potion so I went to the cottage and clicked on the book and it says "you don't need to read this now". I supposed I could try and make the potion by the ingredients listed in the walkthrough... not sure if it will work though.

Did you get the squirrel in the trap? If you did I'm really at a loss as to what else isn't done. frown

Yes.

I'm in the cottage and when I click on the hint it keeps showing me the painting. Am I supposed to do something with it?

I got the water, but nothing happens when I click on the honeycomb... are you supposed to have a container to put it in?

The honeycomb is used in preparation of the healing potion.
To make a potion, you have to place the ingredients necessary on the workbench.
Best to collect all the ingredients first.

As for the painting, have you entered it already and finished all that is needed to be done in that painting?

I don't think you need a container for the honeycomb. There's some "trigger" or other that you apparently haven't tripped.

I think maybe the only way to proceed is to read the walkthrough very carefully and make sure that there isn't some small thing that you haven't done yet. frown

EDIT: Another idea -- go to every location and use the Hint button to see if there's anything you missed in that particular location. I think once you've found everything in each location that's pertinent, the game tells you if you that if you hit Hint button.

Thanks MaG and Becky.... you both were right.

I went to every location and clicked on "hint" and all was done everywhere except (of course) the last place... the store. I guess I needed to buy yellow paint first and put it on the painting. Then it allowed me to get the ingredients and make the potion... I'm on my way now. (This is one of the reasons I dislike adventure games... why would you need to buy paint for a painting before making a potion?) Thank you. Cute game.

You had to get yellow paint before you could collect the potion ingredients? lol Sheesh!

Glad you're on your way now.

Thanks Ana for helping me find this thread. I didn't go back far enough in my search. blush

The Per and I started playing this today. I really liked it and so did he. We didn't get very far before his mom came for him, but so far it is lots of fun and the difficulty is just right. wave
