Karsten, since your computer is that old, it might be wise to run the Windows Upgrade Advisor. It will tell you if there are drivers etc. for all your components. As long as all your peripherals are plugged in, it will tell you if they are compatible with Windows 7 also.

That is neat to know...thanks Drac. That whole driver thing can be a twit to deal with.

Hi everyone. I thought I'd jump in a little late in the game and tell KayC and everyone that I've been playing Morrowind on Windows 7 for a few months and it's been doing great with no patches or tweaking or anything. I was thrilled! smile

Just wanted to share that---and to say, I'm not looking forward to Windows 8! Not yet...nooooo!

LOL

wave Thanks Tracy! Getting ready to install it. Sure glad I won't have to add any patches or do any tweaking. I have been surprised that some of the older games work great on windows 7.
I'm not ready for windows 8 either. I'm still learning 7. lol

Yup, Morrowind is on the list games that play perfectly on 64-bit Windows 7 in the Windows 7 and Games thread in the Glitches forum.
