Kicked 30$ in for Tex. And playing Pandora. A little tweaking of the DOSbox config after reading the GOGsupport it runs perfect.

Great interview with Aaron and Chris over on Adventure Gamers with some concept art (?) and photos from the making of UAKM and Pandora Directive.

Kevin McCarthy died just two years ago - at the age of 96! I guess I am getting nostalgic. smile

Deadline is quite close, so the developers launched another appeal:

Quote:
To date, Project Fedora has raised nearly 2/3 of its funding goal, with 18 days left before the fundraiser ends. What's the catch? If the goal of $450,000 is not met by the deadline on June 16, NONE of the donated funds will be available to bring back our favorite P.I.

So, in typical fashion, Tex finds himself in a race against time – but you can help him beat the odds and emerge triumphant!

For more information – including an AWESOME new video starring Tex Murphy himself – and to donate to Project Fedora, visit the Project Fedora Kickstarter page

I"m right up there with Mad, give me the video quality about what we had in the old games and I'd be happy. It was always the story and the puzzles for me. Those gamer videos are funny and well done. It would be fantastic if we could have another Tex game. I hope everyone is doing their best to donate what you can, if you can to Kickstarter to get the game made.

This one is good, too, BubbaJake. Who is Tex Murphy? My own name for it since that's what you see. For some reason, YouTube cut this Tex-timonial off at 5 minutes.

Update 10 with video is up.

BTW that exploding UFO in the fan made video was referring to Pandora Directive.

I have to go and play some Tex, now! I just cannot take seeing all these Tex games and other stuff right now. I have overdosed for a while, but I don't care.

There's always something a bit yukky when an Englisman tries to use that dreadful american phrase "do the math":-)

English? Or an Aussie? Hey, saying "do the math" can't compete with advertising yourself as a (deleted by BET). I've decided to forgive him that one. <g>

I'm sure if he has been a british he wouldn't have bought a T shirt like that lol

It's a very bad word here in UK.

Hehehe, no wonder BET deleted it, then. It means zilch here in the US.

Hey, when 50 Cent used it, it sorta started to have some vague meaning to some. I know it's not a good thing to be called a 'whatever' which is just the reason I like it.

If I had the $$ - I'd fund the remainder of what they need myself !! That's how much I like the series !

If I had the money we'd all be playing a Tex game right now. We'd be stuck in one of Aaron's great, logical puzzles (I'd be dreaming about a way to get through said puzzle) and people would be yammering about the upcoming game due out next year continuing the storyline and introducing that new character.
Why am I not rich?
