Fantastic, SSGamer! I was supposed to be getting a hand built PC, but have put that on the back burner. I should have known something like this would happen, but I really don't mind this at all. I noticed a bunch of us replaying the Tex games. I'm re-re-re (etc.) doing Pandora Directive. I can't locate that walkthrough that leads to the perfect ending. Does anyone know where I can find it? And, YES, I still need a walkthrough!

Wow! I don't know where that money's coming from but it looks as if They're Going to Make It!!!

For every six thousand in pledges, one of their Magnificent 7 backers adds four thousand dollars more. People are really getting behind this!

Yeehee!

Why is it so dramatic, watching the money being slowly pledged, then suddenly pouring in?

It's a whole new gaming experience. lol

Well, it's a whole new experience!

Is Kickstarter a form of "gamification"?

Tensification is more like it. I've been strung out up until now. grin

The next one of the Magnificent 7 waiting to add his $4K is Ming, Emperor of the Universe!

It's an intense communication between the inventor/artist/developer and the users/clients/gamers. Unfolding in real time.

It's fascinating to watch.

That's it! smile Another of my comeback dreams fulfilled!

Looks like publishers have thrown adventure games out of the window and they've came back knocking on the front door!

Now we get Tex Murphy. Just can't hardly wait.
Thanks to GOG I can play all the older Tex's without fighting disks and computers, just download and play.

Yet another Update: Stretch Goals! They include new characters and expanding Chandler Avenue.

Q&A Aaron and Chris answer questions on reddit. Here's some of it.

The first stretch goal (10% extra) has been reached. I really hope we get all the way to 30%! bravo

The Big Finish Manifesto Awesome story line is a must! Narrative multipathing. Great hint system. Different levels of difficulty. Etc! Chris talks about bringing back a better game experience and making gaming better over all.

And to think I was worried (for awhile) that the original goal would not be met. Glad I was wrong.

Now I'm worrying about Two Guys Spaceventure.

As you all know by now I am Tex Murphy's #1 fan and I am doing back flips with delight. I didn't know if my little funds would make a difference but I am so glad it did. Well back to Under A Killing Moon.
