It's really amazing how world forgot about Legend Entertainment games :\ So I'll make a short list of their games that are a must play. Hi sijacki, The Annual List isn't about games that are worthy and forgotten, though, it's about games that we'd recommend to other gamers because we've played them and like them and wouldn't mind seeing some of them in the Hall of Fame! Wow! I keep saying to myself, GK: Sins of the Fathers hasn't made the Hall of Fame yet! So I keep on voting for it. Hope springs eternal! Gil.

- 7th Guest (GOG or DotEMU version)
- Aura (DotEMU version)
- Atlantis 2 (aka Beyond Atlantis)
- Book of Unwritten Tales
- Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers (GOG or DotEMU version)
- Lost Horizon
- Moment of Silence
- Morpheus
- Myst 3: Exile
- Obsidian
- Return to Mysterious Island
- RHEM 2
- Riddle of the Sphinx
- Safecracker 2006
- Schizm (aka Schizm: Mysterious Journey)
- (The) Secret of Monkey Island (original version in ScummVM or original version in LucasArts version that's updated to run on newer systems)
- Sentinel: Descendents in Time (aka Realms of Illusion)
- Shivers
- Still Life
- Uru
Some of these (like Morpheus, Obsidian, and Shivers) might have to be played inside Virtual PC on 64-bit Windows 7. But a newbie to gaming isn't necessarily a newbie to running Virtual Machines, so I'm including these games anyway. I'd like to have included Schizm 2, but it had that problem with saving in the elevator level causing a dead end. Though I love all the RHEM games, I'm just including my favorite, RHEM 2, which was the "easiest" for me overall (not that any of them were easy).

That is a very high recommendation indeed, and before it's even out yet! Are you sure you're not the voodoo lady? Wincey, I wish I was. That would be cool. I could cure all ailments. I would be known as the first person who found a cure for AIDS, and it would be a simple recipe: crocodile tongues, snake's venom, a toenail from an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend and Evian water. A voodoo lady needs a sponsor. The cost of living isn't cheap you know. Unfortunately, I'm not. I've just looked at the screenshots and the trailers, and I thought it looked like a great game. I'm going to get it off of Gamersgate when it comes out. It's the only place I know of that already has it for pre-order. http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-DECS/the-dark-eye-chains-of-satinav

I recommend them with all my hearth GK1, yeah I almost forgot about that game. Truly on of the best and hardest I've played.

Is Dreamfall: The Longest Journey considered part of the Hall of Fame? Or just the original Longest Journey? TIA, Karen Just the original. Ana

Wow! I keep saying to myself, GK: Sins of the Fathers hasn't made the Hall of Fame yet! I agree, and I think the same about Obsidian -- another unique and amazing game. But GK1 is probably easier to get now that GOG and DotEMU both have DRM-free versions, updated to run on newer computers, available to download.

About a dozen games with 5 or more votes so far, and all the recent Sherlocks seem to be doing well. Isabelle is clearly biding its time.

The basis for the Hall of fame is here We decided to add Lost Crown this year as even though it doesn't have the longevity of some games, it has been top of the List the last two years and has only ever had Hall of Fame games finish in front of it. We debated waiting another year, but agreed it was a worthy entrant despite its "newness". Not sure what you mean by a compilation, but as the counter and compiler with Chief my initial reaction is

Not sure what you mean by a compilation, but as the counter and compiler with Chief my initial reaction is I just fainted and I don't even do it. Maybe a look at the Annual Games Recommendations in the Archives could sub for a (shudder) compilation. Gil.

There are already two sequels of the Jonathan Hunt Adventures, but in printed books:) They were published in Hungarian. Yoomurjak's Ring is the first one (the novel was based on the game) and the second is titled The Devil's Stone (none of them have been tranlsated yet, maybe some time...) And the second game is planned, based on this novel, so let's hope everything goes well!
