Dave was not hacked, godaddy was. THere was nothing compromised on any of the websites nor were any Godaddy passwords stolen.

Here is what I got from godaddy for my own account:

Quote:
At no time was any sensitive customer information, including credit card data, passwords or names and addresses, compromised.

Hi, Ana!

If that was the case, the credit card companies would have cancelled all credit cards of the customers affected and issued new ones.

I have a Mastercard and, a few months ago, I was advised by my bank that the system of a merchant I had dealt with was compromised, so they cancelled my credit card and issued a new one.

I have always ordered from Dave if a game I wanted wasn't available in Canada, so I hope he is able to sort out the problems he is experiencing.

I had the same thing happened with my Chase card a couple months ago Susie. The banks are being far more proactive these days as opposed to reactive. It saves us all a lot of headaches.
