Hi Jenny100 "Yet another game that ends in a cliffhanger .... Leaving a principal character on the verge of death is not an acceptable ending IMO." I heartily agree on that point !! When Simon II ended with a cliffhanger, which I felt was very unfair after I had payed full price for what I thought was going to be a full game, I phoned AdventureSoft to give them a piece of mind I wish I could have seen their faces. And considering there was then a five year wait till the "graphically unfinished, disappointingly action filled, rubbishy" Simon III appeared, I feel I was entirely JUSTIFIED !!!! I actually enjoyed Simon 3D. It wasn't the most stable game I ever played, but I think I had less problems with it than most people. And I played it with my brother, who did the arcade thing for me. We both thought it was a hoot. Ah, yes. In those bygone days, one could actually phone in to a studio and discuss a game with the people who made it .... Amazing to think of it now.

Hi Jenny100 I definitely should have scouted round for a "Brother" myself then !! I was almost hairless after that gaming experience [I persevered and played all the timed bits right up until the graphic glitches just got so bad I couldn't carry on .... But I didn't enjoy them. So a "lose, lose" situation all told ] At the time of Simon II, the folks at AdventureSoft were very nice. I would get put through to a developer who would discuss the game with me and give me a tip if I was stuck. It was wonderful But the only responses to my complaints about the were sardonic chuckles Cheers. Mad

Hi looney4labs I used to have nimble fingers - I was a pianist for years and years !! But somehow the message from my brain to my fingers just seems to get waylaid these days [Must be too much of the good life, eh ?? All these lovely games luring me into the murky, depths of BAAGISTIC over indulgence .... ] Yeah !! Bring 'em on Cheers. Mad

Darlene, I haven't played any of the Broken Sword games (but I will). There is a lot of conversation in Runaway 2, but I enjoyed them as they were funny. It is amazing all the different gaming preferences we have, isn't it

I too just received my new Runaway 2 today! Based on everything posted here I can't wait to load it up and get playing. I need a break from Dreamfall...Vinnie has been kicking my butt for the last 4 hours...so it's on to Runaway 2.
Thanks to all who share!
