Reply from Olga this morning, she has sent my files off to the developers. Please note, she says, "it will take sometime for them to come up with a fix". So its going to be a waiting game.  Edit: Shaman games on Facebook have asked for a link to this discussion, so have obliged. Perhaps they can speed things along.

Hallo everybody, I have received the following from Shaman Games: We specified from our developers that there really was a bug, we fixed it and passed the faultless version of the title to our publisher PlayRIX. Please contact the PlayRIX to receive faultless version of the game. We apologize for any inconvenience this bug may have caused. Regards, Shaman Games Looks like its up to Playrix then. I have downloaded the game again and will play through to the point were the bug is/was has see if it has been fixed.

Hi, Upsydaisy! I received a response from Olga this morning (is she the only one who works in Customer Service?) and she assured me that she will send me the update when it's ready and it won't cost me any additional fees (what a relief to hear that  )! She then offered me a special 50% discount on any other Playrix game to compensate for the inconvenience. Since we know that Shaman Games Studio has already sent Playrix the updated game and you even sent a copy of their email to Olga, I don't have a lot of confidence in them, so I'm going to once again ask for a refund. Received from Playrix this morning: Some changes were made in the game but this bug was not fixed. We continue working on the problem together with the game developers and I hope that pretty soon the update will be released. We will let you know immediately. They are also selling this game 'special price just this weekend' $5.99 I wonder why!!!

Susan I haven't heard anything from Olga. I sent a message to Shamangs( bought this game from Playrix about a week ago and there is a glitch in the game in chapter 6. I reported it to Playrix so many times I just get a run-around. I will never buy from them again. I get to one point in the game and I can't progress any more. I really like the game. I talked to Olga. Thanks Richard

It's the weekend, I doubt will you hear anything from her at the moment.
I don't mean to make light of your plight, but they are working on a fix and offered a discount on the next game which more than makes you whole. If it can't be fixed (which I highly doubt) then they would owe you a refund. I don't know of anyplace that so freely offers a credit back like BigFish does and if you are expecting that, it's best to stick with them because that is unique.
I don't think that Playrix is offering bad customer service as I can see they have been conversing with you and letting you know they are working on it. I understand it's frustrating, but sometimes things happen beyond the control of others.

Hi, Ana! BFG is definitely in a class all by itself, and I certainly don't expect their level of customer service from other companies, although it would be nice  . My problem with Playrix is that they have given Richard, Upsydaisy and me different answers to the same problem. If I purchase something and take it back to the store because it doesn't work, I expect to receive a refund. I don't expect to be told that they will let me know when there is a fix for the defective item. Shaman Game Studios informed Upsydaisy by email that the glitch had been fixed and Playrix now has the updated version, yet Playrix insists that's not the case. All I know is that I paid $15.73 Cdn. for a game I cannot finish, and I would like a refund. Susan

I don't understand why Playrix is still selling the game while there is a glitch in the game and they know about it. We can't be the only customers that bought the game. Other customers must be having the same trouble as we are having. Richard

If there are 4 of us here who got stuck in exactly the same spot, I'm assuming that nobody who purchased the game has been able to finish it. Playrix should have pulled the game until the glitch has been fixed, but I just went to their website and it's still selling for $13.95.
As Ana mentioned, it is the weekend but, if I haven't heard back by Tuesday morning, I'm going to dispute the charge on my credit card and have my bank reverse it.

Even though I enjoyed the game enough to play it again, I'm not going to take a chance of downloading it a second time only to discover that the glitch has not been fixed. Susan Edited to add that I received a response from Olga this morning and my request for a refund is being submitted today, but it will take some time for the refund to be processed. I replied that I assumed it won't take any longer to process my refund than it took to charge my credit card when I purchased the game  ! Susan
