I noticed a few illlustrious forum contributers did not post here - yet - Witchen, amazing walkthrough writer, and Jenny100, amazing tech person. Come on, be brave, fess up.

I'm sure there have been other frequent posters that I've missed. I love seeing everyone's age - sometimes you can predict the age (based on the life experiences people talk about) and sometimes you can't!

Hi guys!
Hangin' in right around the big 5-0. I can still here my father's words whenever he felt the need to comfort me......."Moe", he'd say, "Crazy people never get old, they just mellow." Then one of my girlfriends from work blew that theory all to hell when she asked me, "What are you going to do? Wait until you're 99, then go from mellow to mold?!" Oh, well.......

Life is too important to be taken seriously.

I will be 51 on the 28th of this month (Sept.)
The body may be starting to age, but the mind is still young at heart. I believe that's due to all the adventure games I play lol

There are lots of members around your age Drizzt. wink They just haven't posted because I made the mistake of asking for members over 45 to post. I should have just asked for ages.

Well I just turned 48 and also celebrated our 25th Wedding anniversary. I guess adventure games appeal to all ages. That is the great thiing about them. You are never too old to play them. It doesn't matter about the reflexes slowing down a little as with some other forms of games does it? I think I will be adventuring for a long time yet. Having said that I do wonder sometimes whether the games are getting harder these days or my mind getting slower laugh

Hi Hedgie; I was given this name ( back when I was in Grade 3)by my best friend we used to love watching the Bugs Bunny Cartoons and "Rocky and Mugsy" were two of the characters. I am very fortunate to still have her as a best friend some forty years later. I'm very sorry your friend is no longer with you, it is nice to know there was more than one Mugsy. wave laugh

Thanks for re-posting, Dee. I missed the original. I was really surprised that we had so much, how should I say,... experience? I'd like to see a histogram of the age distribution at Boomers.

I am 47 bravo .

Hello,
I would love to see a Histogram on the gender/age
stats of the great boomers. After reading a few
pages of posts and adding fuzzy logic to compute:
It would seem Boomers are about 78% Female
and the average age is about 56 years young.
If the counts were actual, would not the game
makers and such, be interested in the totals?
Oh ya, I am a 44 year old Drone Bee.

Thank You Witchen for making this available again.

A histogram would be great.

I am 65 years young and Lela, my young chick wife, who needs to be counted into this tally, is 5 years younger than me. I'm afraid to quote her age. smile Did I get around it OK?

We have had an adventure gaming website since 1997, and it has been our experience that most of our readers and those people that we are helping every day are over 50, and many are in their 60's and above, and a very high percentage of them are women.

Cheers,

Bill (Mr. Bill) and Lela

-----------------------------------------

Hi Bill and Lela.....Just wanted to pop in here and clarify that MacDee recaptured this topic from the Gameboomers archives. It wasn't the Witchen; she who has no age. wink

Sorry MacDee and Witchen blush - see what happens to the mind when you turn 65. I asked MacDee to bring this thread back a whole day ago. rolleyes
