I just noticed that all of mine are 3rd person, 2D animated games (or was The Prophecy 1st person?). A good story with interesting characters and logic based puzzles make these games among the best (IMHO). We still haven't played Discworld, Monkey Island, Tex Murphy, etc. etc. - maybe next time they'll be on my list.
