Well I am hugely out of the loop here and getting ready tonight (oh joy! oh joy!) to load my forst game in just over two years....and am torn between loading "seven Journeys of the Soul" or "GK III: Blood of the Damned." Anyway - my favorites would have to be:

I am sure there is probably something else I could add to the mix, but it has been so long since I have done anything, I am at a loss!

Any errors are of course my own.
The winner might surprise. As I said at the start I thought there would be a "new" first place. No prizes for guessing which game I thought it would be. But there wasn't much in it.
Great to see two releases from last year so prominent, yet at the same time those oldies but goodies keep hanging in there.
And as I say every year, every game on this list is a good one, as at least one boomer thought it was worth recommending out of all the games out there.

Thankyou Flotsam. A whopper of a job, really well done.

Looking at the no.1 and no.2, I wonder how much influence on those game positions can be attributed to the fact that TLJ has been around much longer and, so, everyone has had plenty of opportunity to play it. If that's the case then it should follow that next year TLJ will be ranked below Syberia (1). 'The Longest Journey' will still sneak ahead on my list, however.

I also was suprised to see Riven so close to the top. And I really must start playing Grim Fandango so I can consider it next year!

I think that's part of the reason that the list includes so many old games. We see that others love them, so instead of playing a newer game we try and get the older ones to try. So then they go on our next year's list!
