i thaught so. There seem to be some holes in that tree. But where are we going to find a cracklenut. This is becoming frustrating again. You said you found two portals. I found the one at the Desert house that you told me about but is there another. And what of that campfire? And why did we struggle so hard to talk to Jakar for nothing?

Did I miss something. Putak apparently made me invisible yet I am not being let in the other entrance. It keeps saying they will see me for sure. I thought they wouldn't be able to.

Blah, I don't know if I am stuck or not, so I need to know.
I am in the Pod (after going down the ladder at the Causeway). I turned the portal on and set the coordinates on the grid in the control room. I go back out, and I cannot click on the 2nd portal.
Do I have to do something else here, or do I go back to the first portal and return to the desert house then go to speak with Bock?

I'm confused! Trying not to read all the posts so this might have already been answered but let me ask again.
How did ya'll arrive at those number combos for the Gem, knife etc.. I know the sequence came from the kids game. but I don't get where the number of button pushes and order of button pushes came from. Help me out here?

John Kim, apparently there is a logic behind them, according to John M, but the two I discovered (cup and dagger) I guessed in practically no time. The other four were provided by jj7. I will assume that he guessed the patterns as well, but I cannot speak for him. Gamehound

Hi Gamehound, After I collected the bacteria in the cave, I went back to the prison. Nothing I can do there. No can by the elevator. Can I leave this world? I can't see how. No one to talk to. Thanks for any help. _________________ Nevermind

It looks like the others aren't visiting this thread anymore because they have finished the game.
Once you have added the bacteria to the cup of algae, you need to go back to the desert house, empty the pool then walk around to the front of the house. Pan to the drained pool and add the algae and bacteria soup to the pool. After, click on it and that will become a portal to the Causeway.
As for me, I am at the end of the game. Can anyone tell me what I do with the caged soulbug? I can't use it on Athera, and there is no ending. Blah, I hate having to roam around aimlessly to find one stupid solution.
I think I will go back to the lizard at the desert house and see if I can feed it to him.

Well, the shield's in Athera's room add little help.
Map puzzle: The die in Cavan's game is...
1 - Red 2 - Green 3 - White
Add the colors up of each shield in Athera's room (both side panels and the shield itself) to reveal how many characters are needed per display-case combination. Frankly, I find it of little use because you still have to guess the combinations.
Cup - 7 (1231232) Coin - 4 (3123) Helmet - 5 (22132) Gem - 7 (3322123) Dagger - 6 (323132) Lyre - 5 (11332)
Okay, that nonsense is out of the way. I have been all over every location on both maps, and I cannot find what to do with the caged soulbug. That is where I am stuck, and I can't stand to go through each location again or I'll go nuts. Sorry all, but this game is finally annoying me (too much travelling I suppose). I am going to take a break. I may try again tomorrow.

Gamehound, Just one more step.... Take the caged soulbug to the room under the causeway where the last portal is. There are two levers--one which pulls down and one that doesn't. Hang the caged soulbug on one and pull the other.

I even went there and tried using the soulbug on the portal.
Thanks for the response manx

Hi Gamehound,
Okay, here's the answer to the map puzzle. Cavan's game: Red=1, Green=2, White=3 Now go to the bedroom and look at the shields. Each shield has 3 parts, a left frame, a center shield, and a right frame. Look at the colors of each. The colors tell you how many times to press the left, middle and right buttons on the corresponding display case.
So if a shield's left frame is red, center is white, and right frame is green, then find the display case that holds the treasure depicted on that shield, and hit the left button once, the middle button 3 times, and the right button twice.

Alright folks, as promissed, I coded the walkthrough today and I just sent it off to MaG to approve for the Gameboomers website. Sokra: You need to do a series of steps. SPACEPORT
* Go into the elevator then go up two floors to the bar.
Note: Yay! Our friend is here.
* Move towards him one screen. * Pan left then click on the drink dispenser in the middle of the bar counter. * Click on the menu selector (the object to the right of the gray enclosure). * Click on the side button until you go onto the picture of the red berries.
Note: The red berries, as we will find out later in the game, are koozberries. We will also find out, later in the game, that glowbugs like koozberries.
* Click on the rectangular picture to get a glass of koozberry juice. * Click on the glass to drink the juice. * Click on the glass to receive an empty tumber (glass) in your inventory. * Move your cursor to the top of the screen, until the cursor flattens, then click to exit the view. * Pan right then move between the tables. * Pan left then click on the man to speak with him again. * Go back to the elevator then go down one floor.
Note: Eeep! Someone cried out for help.
* Move forward one screen, pan right then move towards the crates. * Pan left then click on the man on the ground. * Pan left then click on the elevator. * Move two screens down the walkway. * Pan right then click on the medbot.
Note: You will see symbols on the bot's chest plate. We will need these for later in the game. Either write them down, or I will provide enhanced screenshots, later in this walkthrough, when the codes are needed.
* Click on the bot's head to speak with Dr. Jakar. * Click on the bot to exit the view. * Pan right then go back to where the man is lying on the ground. * Right click to bring up your inventory then click on the syringe. * Use the syringe on the man, go back into the elevator then go down one floor. * Move forward one screen, pan left then click on the brown cargo box beside the circular platform in the water. * Go back up one floor then over to the injured man again. * Right click to open your inventory, click on the cargo box then give it to the injured man.
Note: Place your cargo box back into your inventory.
* Go back to the elevator, down one floor then back into the boat. * Click on the yellow bench farthest from you then click on the Market location.
MARKET
* Go back to the supply store, give the clerk the cargo box, go back to the boat then click on the Pad location. As a reward for helping his brother, the clerk allows you to use the jetpack for as long as you want at no charge. Gamehound

MaG: I sent it and an addendum e-mail to you. Let's wait a little longer to see if it arrives. If not, please use the walkthrough link in my reply to Sokra to copy it for Gameboomers. Sokra: The walkthrough is available. This version of the walkthrough will ONLY be available until MaG can get it posted on the Gameboomers website, so don't expect it to be online too long. Please do not share it with anybody. The more traffic the site gets, greater the chance that the walkthrough will be deleted (and not by me). New link posted with the walkthrough hosted on Gameboomers. Thanks MaG! Gamehound

MaG,
I only got one of your e-mails saying that you were waiting for my walkthrough. I never got the second one from you. I tried to send a test e-mail just now. Let me know what happens.
Thanks for posting the walkthrough MaG. As always, Gameboomers has the right to accept/deny requests by other sites to use my walkthrough.
Hopefully this e-mail mess will be sorted soon.
Cheers.

Okay, now I really feel behind you guys. I'm stuck after helping the guy who was injured and had to deliver supplies to his brother. I did that and I received the Jet Pack for giving him the goods. Now, I am stuck and don't know what to do next. Any "soft hints" ???

How about heading for the launching pad and trying out the jet pack...
