I am playing Sunset Hills now. I find it to be a gentle, civil, beautifully drawn game with interesting not-too-hard puzzles. I hear the puzzles ramp up in difficulty though...guess I'll enjoy the journey.

Thanks for the feedback to my two sentence review. Sunset Hills continues to enamour, but it is a lot of fetching and questing. It's always interesting to play a game the day it is released. There are no walkthroughs. Fortunately I have a good friend who does the same thing and we compare notes. Still recommend.

I hope you'll come back to let us know about the ending KatieB, as I am reading some negative reviews about it.

When I was in 4th grade, there was some kind of book reading competition, and I read a book a day. A book a day! For a while! Anyway, during that book reading frenzy, I realized that if I was taking the time to read a book, I didn't want to know anything about its contents. So I stopped reading the back of the paperbacks. They always gave something away. Likewise, with an adventure game, why sully the story with someone else's verdict of the end?

That is very understandable, KatieB. I don't usually let reviews sway me one way or the other but I do look at some of them. Sometimes if there are a lot of bad reviews I'll buy the game just to find out for myself, but I usually don't get around to playing games for so long after they are released that it doesn't much matter if I read the early reviews. I'll forget what they said.

Oh my this game is interesting. Now in a place I did not expect, and I understand this Part II is very different from I. Who else is playing? Anyone?
