I am in the dream sequence. I have rearranged the room exactly as the picture in the room. Soup can on shelf, barrel moved to corner in front of other barrel (including having the mark on the barrel showing out toward the room), chest moved to where it needs to be under the table, alcohol bottle off of the table. As I said everything looks the same as the picture. Is there something else I am supposed to do? The room doesn't change after all this is done. Unfortunately I can't save at this point , so I have to keep redoing it when I have to get out of the game. Thank you, Eileen

Hi MaG, I do have a walkthru, it says the same thing as this one. Sorry, didnt realize this should be posted elsewhere. Thank you. Eileen

I checked the w/t and saw something that I wasnt able to do and dont know if it makes a difference.

After going down the hole I am supposed to walk to a drainage room straight ahead and turn a valve. Well, I am not able to go to the drainage room before the dream sequence starts. I have to go in the direction I am heading because there are two areas that have bars stopping me from going in those directions. When I head in the only direction I can....the dream sequence starts.

Hi ya o1alien,

I played this game and i remember having problems with that first dream sequence as well. It seems to me it was the positioning of the cans. Have you tried shifting their positions on the shelf a bit?

Can you fall back a save and try again?

If that doesn't work, can you take a screenshot and post it?

Hi Looney, actually, I have moved the one soup can on the shelf a few times. But maybe I will continue to try doing that. Every time I replay the game I have to go to the save at the mess hall, before I go down the hole, therefore I have to redo that room every time I restart the game...not exactly a fun time..lolol. Especially when everything appears to be ok. How do you take a screenshot?
Thank you, Eileen

Hi Eileen,

To take a screenshot, press your PrintScrn key (usually top right of keyboard), then exit out of the game and open up your Paint program (in Program Files\Accessories) and right-click-paste the file into there. Resize as necessary, then save as a jpg. Upload the file into Photobucket or similar. luck

Eileen,

I played that game long time ago but I think that there is a bottle one has to brake.

I found a glitch at some point, not exactly there, because I had done things in a different order than the WT suggested (I only checked the WT when I was already stuck), I was locked in a room without options. Maybe it would be worth checking if you did things in the same order as the WT.

Thank you Rushes and mcc. I just watched a video w/t of this room and I was shocked. I was so careful in placement of the items and yet in the video everything was placed haphazardly, the last thing placed on the shelf was the soup can and it was laying down, not standing on its end....and it worked...the room changed...lolol. Maybe I was placing things in the wrong order? Is that possible. Anyway, I will do it the way the video showed and see if that works. Thank you for your help, Eileen

PS: I think taking screen shots is a lot of work...lolol.

It worked....yahoo. I also broke the bottle and I think that was the trigger. Thank you very much. Eileen

Hello, I need help again. I am in the computer room, have done everything and checked all drawers. I am supposed to have a code in the "to do list" to open the infirmary door. I don't have that code. Does anyone know where I was supposed to pick up this code? or do you have the code you can give me please. Thank you, Eileen

Make sure to examine the door closely first, then the code should appear in your To Do list. luck

hmmmmm, thank you very much. That is rather confusing because the computer has an icon that when you click on it, it wants a password. I thought that was where the code was supposed to go. Am I supposed to put a password in this area or is it a red herring? Thank you for clearing this up for me. Eileen wink

At one time you have to enter 3061, I don't know if it is this you need.

I am in the machine room and having a really hard time trying to electrocute the worm coming through the wall. I can't seem to get it when it comes through the second wall. I wait and wait for it to come through the third wall so I can pull the switch but it keeps coming through the second wall hole. Is there a trick to this? Thank you, Eileen

Eileen, have you tried hiding around the power transformer and then running out and quickly pulling the switch? luck

I have, apparently I am not fast enough. If the only way to kill this thing is to move to the other side of the power transformer for it to come through the 3rd wall then that is what I will do. I am not thrilled with this part of the game. Thank you for your help Looney. smile

Yes, you do have to do a little trick to lure that worm to where you want it to come out, that what I did. It does take a bit, but I'm sure can suceed with it.

luck

Yay, I am past the worm...now I am on the outside at the shack area. Can't find the cloth and how do I use the stones on the ledge to get back to the other side after the collapse of the snow bridge. I can't seem to jump to the ledge, keep getting killed. Tried using boards to get to the first ledge, boards don't appear to be long enough. Tried pushing that big box outside to the ledge to jump on and get to the ledge, that doesn't seem to work unless I am doing something wrong with it. So, once again, please heeelllppp. Thank you, Eileen

Eileen, I think I remember 2 shacks--have you been to both?

Also, that ledge jumping is aggravating and tedious. You have to find the exact right spot to jump to each section from. I remember having hubby help me with that spot.

Be sure to look down as far as you can at where your feet are on the stone. I think I even made a little chart of where I stood for each rock so that it was easier to do over and over, and eventually, I was over (Well, hubby was over--does that count?)luck
