I just received Rhem2, inserted disk in drive, and folowed instructions, but something just didn't work.
Games starts, you ride on a train to the end, then nothing happens. You can't do anything.
Walkthrough says clue is in the car, but I can't see any car.
Nothing moves no matter where I click.
Any suggestions. What is wrong? Help?

As for the car - you are inside the railcar.

Railcar: Turn right and take the code card with 3 red stripes. Turn around and use the code card on the slot at right of door.

How do I turn right? MOve car right?
Nothing works, you can click anywhere and nothing happens.

KaSee, as MaG asked above, please do not stack your posts. Please give us time to read your post, and try to understand what the problem you are having might be, our responses cannot always be instantaneous!

Are you able to access your inventory and see the first piece of the key? Move your cursor to far left, bottom and right of screen and see if anything happens or if you are able to move that way.

This excerpt from Jenny100's review of Rhem2:

RHEM 2 uses a standard QuickTime point-and-click interface. The cursors will be familiar to anyone who has played the first RHEM game. As you move your mouse around the screen, small white hand icons will change to indicate when you can click forward, turn right or left, look up or down, turn around, grab, or otherwise interact with something. Moving your mouse to a dark area at the bottom of the screen will make three icons appear - a box, which you click on to access your inventory, a compass with the point for North highlighted, and a steering wheel shaped icon that will take you to the main menu if you click it. On the whole the interface is very intuitive and should be familiar enough to anyone who's played a point-and-click game that they don't need to consult a manual to figure it out.

There is a hand pointing up, but I move and click and get nothing.
It says move right and collect card.
I can't move!
Grab? how does one do that?
I have done several similair games and know how to move, but not this time.

Do you have QuickTime installed on your computer? You need QuickTime 6 or higher in order to play the game. I wonder if that is what the problem is.

Does the cursor change shape at any point as you move it around the screen? (when you're not holding inventory)

If Rhem 2 is the same as Rhem 3, the cursor is a pointing hand.

Move it to the right or left side of the screen and then click to move to that screen.

The cursor should change as you move it over active hotspots.
The changes may not be obvious. I seem to remember one change where the hand flips over, but the finger points upwards on both.

I finally realized you move curcer to far edge of black screen not in the picture, which is window in rail car. Finally I am moving.
Now into Water cavern, found window with red button, and 539
Go right, forward and left to another window, but there are two.
Walkthrough says to go black squares at end of path.
I find none!
Am I to go back to moon picture room? back to arival room?

There is another walkthrough HERE that you can check for comparison. This one states:

Press the button to close the cabinet. Turn right, go forwards then left into the tunnel. Note the closed cabinet on the left. Forwards to the control panel. Press each button and note the number that is displayed for each moon position.

See if that helps you find your way.

I love all the Rhem games and thought I'd give you some advice: take your time and don't start off with a WT in one hand and a mouse in the other...
Explore each available area of the game and do the same when new areas open up before looking at a WT. If you don't I promise you you won't know where you are, what you're trying to do and why you are trying to do it within 30 minutes of gameplay. Only then you'll be able to "connect" things (no pun intended) when you use the WT if you get stuck
This game can really take a long time to finish obviously, but is well worth it imo

I have opened with body shaped indentions, blue door open, making another way to reach moon room.
But I simply can't get there.
I know the room up door has to be closed to reach from inside moon room, but how does one get there?
I have gone in circles. Walkthrough says to moon room which way?
Go to second room and open cabnit. Can't do it.
What am I missing?

Yes there are 2 ways to get to moon room.
- The main door from the walkways.
- Through the manhole outside and out the door beside the rabbit-shaped indentation.
