Hi Boo, If your computer is freezing up and you're needing to reinstall, it sounds like a technical problem rather than gameplay. Possibly your version of Quicktime needs to comply with the version that Rhem 2 is compatible with? I'll move you across to Glitches forum for advice.

Rushes has moved you here, so hopefully one of the moderators can help you out!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

You've already been transferred to the Glitches forum. It sounds like you have the "wrong" version of QuickTime for the game. The version you have is probably a newer version, so you will have to uninstall that first in order to install the version that came with the game. If you need instructions in uninstalling, this site tells you how to do it in XP, Vista, and Windows 7. http://kb.iu.edu/data/aixt.htmlI think the game uses QuickTime 6.3 or 6.4. There should be an installer for it on your game disc, or you can download QuickTime from here: http://www.oldversion.com/QuickTime.htmlYou might want to reboot afterwards.

If the version 6.3 isn't working for you, try the ***version 6.4***. Make sure your antivirus isn't blocking the installation.
