@ first I thought I had already completed Rhem 2 & was happy when I found Rhem 3,realized I had not completed R 2,computer crashed so am using another computer. I am feeling very dumb, stuck @ the beginning, when I slide the red stripe card on the card reader I get red lines that won't move & freezes me up, (they look like the outline of a red envelope).
I have re-installed the game 3 times, only to get to the same spot I can't get started ???
suggestions pleeze
Boo

Hi Boo,

If your computer is freezing up and you're needing to reinstall, it sounds like a technical problem rather than gameplay. Possibly your version of Quicktime needs to comply with the version that Rhem 2 is compatible with? I'll move you across to Glitches forum for advice. luck

Rushes has moved you here, so hopefully one of the moderators can help you out!

Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

You've already been transferred to the Glitches forum.

It sounds like you have the "wrong" version of QuickTime for the game. The version you have is probably a newer version, so you will have to uninstall that first in order to install the version that came with the game. If you need instructions in uninstalling, this site tells you how to do it in XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
http://kb.iu.edu/data/aixt.html

I think the game uses QuickTime 6.3 or 6.4. There should be an installer for it on your game disc, or you can download QuickTime from here:
http://www.oldversion.com/QuickTime.html

You might want to reboot afterwards.

It would help if you told me what version of Windows you're running. XP? Vista? Win7? Win 2000? Win 98?

Usually you find the Uninstall in Add/Remove Programs, or whatever your version of Windows calls Add/Remove Programs.

Then maybe you never installed it. If the game doesn't come with QuickTime for some reason, try installing version 6.3 from
http://www.oldversion.com/QuickTime.html

That's the version I used.

Sometimes it's hard to get back to all of this,
I went to oldversion.com,
it gives me 3 letter looking pieces,
I ask it to extract all,
I open a new folder ( are you board yet?)
eventually after all this it has an error reading the file !
oye vey, :-(

If the version 6.3 isn't working for you, try the ***version 6.4***.

Make sure your antivirus isn't blocking the installation.
