Can Rhem 4 be played on Windows 7? I have a new computer. A Compact with 3gb System memory and 500gb Hard drive. I am afraid to spend money on a game I can, play. The are other games like Dark Fall/ Lost Souls I would like to buy. But unless I see Win7 on the pkg I'm afraid to buy any game. If it says Vista on the pkg would that be ok to buy? Thank you.

Hi Classy,

I would have thought so, yes, as it is a brand new game. I'll move this topic over to Glitches where the experts there will be able to confirm. luck

What you really need to look at is the graphics on your computer.

Here are the Rhem 4 system requirements. They seem pretty low.

Windows
Win XP/Vista/7
1000 MHz Pentium or faster
128 MB free RAM
700 MB free harddisk space
CD-ROM, 800 x 600 display, 32-Bit-color
soundcard, videocard, speaker or headphones
QuickTime for Windows (recommended)

I have an AMD Athlon(tm) 11x2 240 processor 2.80 ghz. I don't see anything about Pentium. I have enough free space and Ram memory. I think I will gamble on Rhem 4. I really like the other Rhem games. Also I will try Dark Fall/Lost Souls. Have read other remarks about win7 and the older games that run on win7. I have a whole bunch of older games that I'll try. Thanks so much.

Your processor is an AMD and Pentium is an older Intel processor platform. You still don't mention your graphics, but if they are up to snuff, you shouldn't have any problems. Darkfall Lost Souls is listed in our Windows 7 and Games thread at the top of this forum. Inland, I'm going to add Rhem 4.

Have fun, Classy Jazzy!

If the previous RHEM games worked, so will RHEM4.
Graphics are very basic -- 800x600 prerendered.
No 3D acceleration required.
It would probably work with a 15 year old video card (or older).

Hello,
I just got done talking with Knut M. He tested the game on a Win-7(64 bit) computer so it will run fine. He recommends downloading Quick Time.

That's correct, Geo. I just got mine from Knut Muller today and it installed and is playing perfectly on Win 7, 64 bit.
