Hi all,
Is there a way to play this game as straight point and click with no keyboard controls at all. Much prefer straight mouse to having to use the keyboard.
Thanks in advance,
Barry

How do I get to the tutorial Mag? When I opened the game all i got was the cutscene with the kids and then now in Holmes' study with Watson discussing the theft case. Plus I can't get Holmes the move using the WASD or arrow keys he just stands there and the mouse only changes camera angle. HELP!!!!

The only problem MaG is I can't get the magnifying glass to interact with any of the objects in your WT (Using till I get the feel of the game) using either WASD , Direction arrows or left clicking (EX. I'm right at the fire place but I can't get the icon to change so I can pick up the magnifying glass.

Ok I've done everything on the list and didn't get to the cut scene. I'm going to start everything over and see if I can get this game going. Hope so for the the price of 39.99 UGH. This is probably the most I've ever paid for a game.
------ Ok I've walked all over the room and the tutorial won't switch. I must have walked around the room 12 x. How do I get out of this and onto the next part. I just want to start the real game already.

This is what Rushes stated: Press the R on your keyboard a few times until Holmes is in third person and you have a pipe as your cursor. Then click an area onscreen and Holmes will move to it. That should cancel out the navigation box and move you on to the next point. You do need to follow the tutorial instructions that appear. I will move you to Hints forum, Barry. See if all those manipulations get you off the tutorial (if you finished it completely) and the inset disappears. Keep us posted. ------------ If I understand you correctly, the tutorial is just asking you to walk? Has it asked other things like pick up or examine? If so - then you have not walked around yet; if you do that correctly another action will be asked.

Thank God I finally got through that mess. I'm now in 122 Baker St and the necklace puzzle. Thanks for the help MaG and Rushes.

Thanks for looking anyway MaG. Just for future reference did you find where the saved games are located in Windows 7 Windows Explorer?

The saves for Win 7 are at:
C:\Users\[computer name]\AppData\Roaming\Frogwares\The Testament of Sherlock Holmes\save
Glad you made it through the tutorial, Barry.
What is also supposed to work if a player is stuck in the tutorial with the first navigation box onscreen is, to use all of the W,A,S,D keys in turn.
