Hi, I am completely stuck in chapter 2 - i have done the couldron part, can't get a gnome in fact can't seem to do anything. Does anyone have a clue to what i might have missed. I have run around and tried all objects on all characters and situ's. I must be missing something??

Do you know what will attract the gnomes? Someone at the competition area will tell you.

Have you got something to attract them? Get inside the Gnome Tree and lure one out of his house! You also need something big to catch him in and something that'll stun him.

Thankyou for the replies. I guess that is something to do with the metal detector the man wont give me Or is it a fish i cant catch lol. I was hoping someone would realise the single problem i must be suffering from as everything seems stuck. I have butter, mucky mag, bell, bowl, jar, net, telescope, lens, letter, coke, signpost, dinamite, frog. Errm, maybe i could try hitting the guy in the hole with a bell. Back soon

About the fish... The dwarf wants cooked fish, right? What if you could kill it and cook it all in one go?

Yep you got it Thanks for the help - it wasnt a bell i was meant to hit him with!! So i got the trophy and was rewarded with a rope across the gorge, guess what?? - Stuck again - i cant seem to balance my way across it. Hmmm the stick from the sign post doesnt help me balance either.

Okay guys - seems everyone is figuring out what to do in Chapter 2 but me lol. I've hit every destination so many times Simon is getting dizzy from all the phone booth spinning he's doing and talked to everyone I can talk to - I know I'm looking for beans, a witch and pretty sure a gnome, oh and a drink for that poor parched talking sign I got into the gnome tree but got stuck (literally - I could look around but Simon wasn't moving so I had to alt-ctrl-del to get out of the game)

I did talk to the guy across the broken bridge, and the two contestants at the gnome firing contest - I tried talking to the ref but he just yells at me to keep away (the nerve of the guy). I also tried to lift the trophy and I saw the cauldron

You need to pay the contest entrance fee. Have you talked to someone who will give you money in return for favors?

Is there an easy way through the timed candy bit??
This bit is killing me

The candy chase is annoying, but it's not very hard once you spot the fourth candy. I assume you know you have to sprint to make this since it's timed (I had a tantrum about it yesterday in the adventure game forum <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/woozy.gif" /> ).

What you do is once you've eaten the third candy turn almost 180 degrees to the left and keep running. Don't run up the slope, the fourth candy is just in the border between the slope and the more flat ground. Be sure to save your game efter you've suceeded though.

On the map there's a black dot that says "Fat bloke" if you point the mouse to it. Have you talked to him? He'll provide you with the tools you need. Make sure you snatch the book out of his pocket too. Then walk to the field between his field and the field with the inbred guy and wait.

Now I'm still continue the chapter 2, found the gnome and caught him with a bell.

Unfortunely, I can't get him because of the gnome's teeth.

I view the message board I found out that I've missed 3 items - mucky mag, coke and dinamite

Can anybidy show me help , give me a hints to get these items?

Also , I can't get in the 'lonely hut', my game stunk...

You can't enter the Lonely Hut in chapter two.

Did you check out the Tomb Trader?

Dynamite... Did you know Simon can wade in the water? You need to try this near a rock (hint hint ).

The gnome will bite you unless you stun him. How to stun him? You can't do this if you don't have the dynamite, so forget about it for a while.
