I'm just about over this game with frustration. It's incredibly difficult to work out what to do next, and my patience is wearing very thin indeed. The journal is pretty much useless and I'm not going to spend any more time wandering around trying to work out what's next.
Is there a decent guide out there? The ones I've found almost seem to assume that you have a clue where you're going...and I don't. Everything seems to lead to a dead end.
It's a shame, because the game could have been a blast, but as it is, I'm not really enjoying it.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Hey, thanks everyone. I do like the game, and my party is very adept in combat, but the immersion gets truncated every time I have to stop and puzzle out what's next. Next time I'll know better. I'm playing two mages plus Bairsdotter and Wairoth, and I have to say that ranged/magic rules in this game. High level Wairoth with Expert Marksman skills added to Rogue skills is hard for any enemy to get past.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Hi Hagatha I concur with oldman The walktrough from gamespressure is really the best one for this game. I played this game last summer (2014). And if I didn't have had summer vacation for 5-6 weeks, I'd probably be playing this game right now Also, the games pressure game guide really helped me - a lot. I can read German (since every Dane learn German in school) and I think I found one in German for this game at Gamestar.de - really helped a lot as well.
Adventure gaming is fun
