I am at the spot where Manny is to put the balloons already filled with "goo" into the tube machine in his office. They are to explode flooding rooms. I have balloons filled, have the right balloon but can't get him to put it inside the tube - he just keeps rubbing it on the outside of the tube mechanism. What have I missed?

Well, I'm at a loss here. If you've filled the balloons, then you MUST have used the correct ones (only the dead worms are deflated). Did you use one balloon on the red hose and one on the blue hose (so each has a different "filling?").

Maybe you are using the balloons in the incorrect order (the one with packing material has to go in first)?

I checked the Grim Fandango patch at LucasArts -- this is NOT something it addresses, well not something that the site says it addresses.

Maybe you are directing the balloons at the wrong part of the tube?

Becky: Friend sent me a Grim Fandango site and found a WT there that gave me the answer here. My Wt that I was following told me to fill the balloons. However, the other WT said to fill the dead worms! Did not realize they were balloons also - just thought they were dead worms. Guess I am a little dense. Filled the worms and succeeded in progressing on in this neat little game - weird but neat. Am enjoying the challenge of the keyboard use. Thanks for trying to help.

Am now stuck in this game finding the kitchen in the High Roller lounge. Think I am in the correct place for the HR lounge - you hear people betting in the background, there is a stairs leading into a betting area which Manny refuses to go ito and a path to a dark room with a stuffed cat, and a stairs leading up to an area of another 3 choices - one of which is a long corridor with an elevator but the operator says you cannot go into the HR lounge because you do not have a pass. So am confused - maybe I am not in the HR Lounge after all until I can get onto this elevator? And one WT has said you must get a pass from Charlie in the bar, while another WT says the gizmo that makes them is all you need. So am confused again. Can anyone clear up the haze?

Hi desertlilac; Did you get the gold flaked liquor at Calavera Cafe yet? In the Casino did you talk to Charlie yet & get something from him? Also show this something to Glottis. Then you can go to the high rollers lounge. I hope this is where you are, if not let us know. Have fun. Judy

Judy: Yep got the gold flaked liquor, talked to Charlie and this is where I get confused re WTs what they say should happen and what really happens to me there. I got the 'gizmo'to make counterfeit things but NO pass. Since I do not have a pass, can't show anything to Glottis and thus when I go to where the High Roller lounge is, can't get on the elevator without the pass.

Have gotten the can opener from the room off the dark room with the stuffed cat so think I am finished there.

Also the WTs say there is some info in the conversation that one is supposed to get, but I never did - about a suitcase that someone took from Charlie. That subject never came up in the conversation I did with Charlie.

First of all, try to go back to a saved game before Charlie; when you get to Charlie, sit down in the booth. these are the questions to ask Charlie.
#1 Right, so what are you doing in it?
#2 How did you print fake betting stubs?
#3 What else can you counterfeit?
#4 Can you make a reasonable union card?
He will then give you a VIP pass & you will also get the betting ticket printer. Show the VIP pass to Glottis, & your off. Judy

This is one of the funniest games I've ever played. I really can't stop!(Which is not good, 'cause I've got beaucoup of very obligatory things to do... )
I do have a little problem, though. I'm in the middle of year two and in, what I think is Manny's office I've found a Roulette-table-manipulator. But every time I start playing with this thing I can't get Manny to stop! I have to go to a previously saved game to get out. Is it 'cause I've already got the unioncard and the printer or did I miss something important?
