Started out with no walkthrough, now I have 2 including the one in this forum. I've done everything right, I think. I had missed the spring thingy. I've matched the prints for both Leslie and Cory, but when I get Leslie in to interrrogate the 2nd time, she says nada. Can't get a warrant for Cory even with his obvious link to Leslie. It's driving me crazy; I don't know what else to do. Wow if they get even harder...well I can't imagine. It's absolutely addictive but sooooooooo frustrating. Suggestions? HELP? Thanks in advance!

I'm having the same trouble that Patzi is having. I've gotten a search warrant for every building so far. I just can't imagine what I am missing. The same help I get will help Patzi to. Thanks
Richard

When I got stuck, I'd go to every suspect to make sure they had nothing to say. Also go to Brass office to see if any new topics. Then I went through all of the evidence.

What evidence have you collected?

What evidence have you collected? Have you been to the trailer? Have you checked all of the evidence to see if anything matches, fingerprints etc? wave

I cannot get the fingerprints on the k-tool to be recognized by Greg. I forgot to look for prints and then went back and put it in the large expose view and found the prints but when I give them to Greg he says he cannot do anything more and does not recognize the prints so I can compare them. Does this mean I have to start all over again?

Are you sure the prints were recognized by the game? Was the print put in the computer? I would try dusting the tool again. smile

No, the prints were not recognized by the game. That is the problem, they are raised and you can see them but it is not recognized so that Greg will put them on the computer. I raised the prints after I had given him the tool to begin with and realized that there was something more I should have done and now all he says is something about "that's all I can do". I shall try re-dusting again but I believe I have already tried that..........thanks for the response

I did that twice, getting prints from evidence in the larger view. I don't think you'd have to start the game over, I didn't. Just make sure you're using the right dusting tool and keep going over it. I hope it works for you. Good Luck. wave

Ok here goes.
In your inventory, click on the spring and get
a close up of the clipped edge and someone will
say, gee it looks like a sharp tool made these
marks. You can also get a close up of the piece
and they will say that again. Put the two pieces
together and give it back to Greg. This will
establish the link between the girl, the tool,
and Cory. Make sure you check the trace evidence
files for that fingerprint - it might be there. If it's not, I'm not sure what to do, but you
could try giving it back to Greg after he figures
out what tool made the cut. Good luck - I was
stuck here too for a long time. PT

Ooops, I forgot.
You can also get a close up of the cut on the
spring after you have put it together. You don't
have to do them seperately. I just kept playing
this game over and over until I completely
conquered it. I even signed in under my dog's
name. He did quite well! Don't get too discouraged
you'll get it.

Aarghh...........the whole thing lies in the spring...you gotta show Greg and big piece then the little piece then double click on the big piece IN THE LAB, drag the little piece, then use the microscope and double click on that. Part interface, part just the scheme. It took me forever!
